[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is okay. It's nothing to really recommend for people to get. It's one of those items, if you need it and it's around, then go ahead and get it. Compared to the others on the market, this one is just average for sleep.

I tried taking it at 1:30 am when I woke up and it never put me back to sleep. I still stayed awake for about 3 hours before finally falling asleep which is what happens when I don't take anything at all. In fact, I was so tired all day from taking it. What I don't understand is that it has the same amount of Melatonin as the other one I have to take 30 minutes before going to sleep, so how is the 3 a.m. supposed to not make me tired in the morning if taken at least 3 hours before waking up?

I looked up the benefits of Theanine and they included improved sleep and relaxation. I took the product as directed in the middle of the night and I think it helped me to fall back asleep. Would recommend!

I don't feel that I have fallen asleep any better after waking in the middle of the night. I can say that it does not leave me feeling any more tired the next day than I usually am.

I fall asleep but a few hours later I'm up and I just can't back to sleep. By taking this right when I go to sleep I haven't been waking up - I'm sleeping better going straight thru the night until early morning. Getting some extra sleep has helped me get thru the day better and just have a clear head.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Both my wife and I used these Natrol 3 A.M. Melatonin Sleep Support and they did not work for either of us. We do have positive experiences with other melatonin products. My wife for one explained "oh disgusting" as soon as she put the tablet in her mouth. Although the taste to me was not bad, it was not good either. The pills are billed as 'fast dissolve" or chewable in the instructions. I tried on top and under tongue, and they took 15-20 minutes to dissolve, so chewing is the only viable option there. Also, the back of the package directions, the last sentence states "For best results, take at least 3 hours before waking." That to me is worded poorly, basically telling me I need to take them while asleep to stay asleep. Anyway, we both tried and they neither helped us go to sleep, nor did they help us stay asleep. Would not recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Natrol is my usual brand for melatonin and I love the regular strawberry fast dissolve tablets. Since I do sometimes wake in the middle of the night I was very excited to try the 3am lavender vanilla fast dissolve tablets. They worked great at helping me get back to sleep and I love that they contain xylitol, but I can not get over the taste. Both me and my son tried them and we both thought it was a very unnatural chemical taste. I would love these if they were a different flavor! I'll take them if REALLY needed in the middle of the night, but not something I would purchase again.
