Medium Chunky Weave Basket - Threshold™ designed with Studio McGee

I’ve ordered my fair share of “decorative” baskets over the years, and most of them end up being either flimsy, oddly shaped, or just not as nice in person as they look online. This one surprised me—in a good way. Right out of the box, you can tell it’s thoughtfully made. The weave is tight and consistent, with just enough variation to give it that relaxed, lived-in look without feeling messy. It has that Studio McGee–inspired style that somehow manages to feel both clean and cozy at the same time. Neutral, but not boring. What I appreciate most is that it’s actually functional. I’m currently using mine to store throw blankets in the living room, and it holds more than I expected without losing its shape. Even when it’s not completely full, it still stands up nicely and doesn’t collapse in on itself like a lot of other baskets do. The handles feel sturdy too—not like they’ll rip off the first time you try to move it. I’ve carried it back and forth between rooms a few times already, and it still looks as good as when I got it. It’s one of those pieces that quietly pulls a space together. You don’t necessarily notice it right away, but if you took it out, the room would feel less finished. For something so simple, that’s saying a lot. If you’re on the fence, I’d say it’s worth it. It looks good, works hard, and doesn’t feel like a throwaway purchase. Honestly, I wish I had picked one up sooner.

Total Pottery Barn dupe, for a way lower price!! The size, and style of this basket can’t be beat, highly recommend!!

I own these and both the Pottery Barn look alike and I don’t care what anybody says the quality is really not much different. The price however is far better at target. I paid $129 for one of these at Pottery Barn and much like these. They’re not perfect, but I love the style of both.

Incorrect measurements, much smaller than stated. Basket stands just over 13” tall and the diameter is also 13” it is stated to be 17x16. Sadly. Was really looking forward to this! Extremely over priced for such a small basket.

This size large chunky weave basket by threshold is perfect for that cozy vibe. It's a great size and the material seems very well and the craftsmanship is well made. I have this in my living room and will be storing my blankets in it. I should be able to fit 3 blankets in it nicely. I love the look and how rustic it feels.

Cheaply made and sheds

I ordered this basket for a few different purposes. I can see it being used as shown in my photos to hold blankets in our basement, but I could also see it being used for laundry, specifically towels. It's cute and adds to the decor of the room but is also functional to keep blankets organized. I could use one in every room!

We recently purchased this Chunky Weave Basket - Threshold designed with Studio McGee and it has been the perfect addition to our family living space. The woven material and neutral color gives off cozy/family friendly vibes. The handles make it simple and easy to move, with our without contents. It is large enough to hold 3 small, or 2 larger blankets (folded). Would recommend.

I am really happy with this basket. It is very well made and sturdy. Often baskets feel flimsy or easily breakable to me and this one does not feel that way. There are some pieces of the wood that stick out a bit. The handles are a nice touch, making it that much easier to move it around the house. It is roomy, making it versatile for all kinds of things from blankets to kid toys.

This doesn’t look large to me. Can’t even fit 2 blankets. Disappointing

This is a large basket that can be used for various storage options. It has two thick braided handles and the main portion of the basket shows detailed weaving. The shape is round and it is about 18 inches tall and about 16 inches wide. The basket itself is very lightweight. However, I do feel like it could hold quite a bit.

Had high hopes for this basket after seeing the pictures. Those hopes were crushed when I picked it up. Flimsy and cheap. And the woven material shed like crazy in the back of my car adding insult to injury when I had to vacuum up the bits and pieces after a quick return. Unfortunately this basket turned out to be a very overpriced dupe not even worth half the price.

Beautiful way to hide my toddlers toys in the living room. I only took a star off because it feels a little flimsy for the price. I feel like it’s overpriced for sure but beautiful piece.

The large basket is bigger than expected. I did read the measurements, but still didn’t picture it to be as large as it is. The smaller one would be a bit too small for what I’m using it for (to store my throw blankets). Really wish there were an in between size! But I’m keeping it anyway - it’s very well made, such a pretty color and I’ve been eyeing the baskets with the handles all the way down the sides like these for years! Gorgeous overall

If you want a cheap basket than this works. This is not a dupe and looks nothing like my pottery barn baskets.
