    Card never worked scam

    Card activated by target in 25 use as gifts to y 5 nieces and none of the cards worked target not even in target stores. Target would not refund or advocate. Target card services suggested I reach out to issuer number in the back of the card. I did this the card issuer says that would mail me the refunds including the 6. Fee to activate at the target store. Well before calling the card issuer my information was private and anonymous Until the card issuers verified my address and phone number. What do you know since then no refund checks only Siam call and fake visa rewards mailed to more frequently than normal. Now as of 2026 still no resolve. With target or the card issuer. I did not use my bank card for purchase I used my target card. And as of today it’s confirmed. 121.43 refunded. On 6/20/24 they said the check was cashed Case number 71366429 Incomm is the name of the program partner Instead of using me.

    Giftcards Damaged and Unusable

    My gift cards were damaged and unusable. I purchased them on 12/3/25 and just today (02/9/26) received replacements.

    Like others have said, this card is a scam. I had 6 of them from christmas gifts. 3 worked, 3 would not work. I looked up the balance on the site, said $100. Also said card is locked due to fraud. I called, guy said the card was attempted to be used before activation. Interestingly enough, I can see the date the card was bought, the day it was activated and the day I tried to use it. The first use, which was declined, was two days after activation. The customer service rep claimed they had to be replaced they could not be fixed. So he claims he's sending replacement cards in 7-10 days. We'll see if it pans out or not. Seems like Target would at least try and vet the vendors they use....oh wait it's Target. I wouldn't shop there if they were the last store on earth.

    This is a total scam! Do not buy. The scratch off code is missing. Worst of all, Target will not take responsibility for selling me a fraudulent card! They are aware there is a problem! It is irresponsible for Target to keep the cards and keep selling the fraudulent cards!

    TERRIBLE GIFT CARD! DO NOT BUY!

    I bought this card for online use and when I opened the card the CVV was completely scratched off. I contacted the company, but they ask for so much info I couldn't trust it. I have another MasterCard gift card, so I checked the website and they were completely different websites. The one I had from before worked, but not this one. I'm still trying to fix the problem.

    Bogus invalid card

    DO NOT BUY THIS CARD. Spent $106 for a gift that can be used. The giftee could not activate the card because it is an invalid card. The phone number on the back of the card hangs up on you and the website for the card issuer is invalid. Target will not back up the item they sold and so we are out the money. We barely shop at Target as is and now this seals the deal. Shame on Target for selling an item they know to be a scam. Next stop is the FTC.

    I bought this gift card and both the security code and the last 4 of the card number were scratched off. What a scam!! Be careful with these gift cards. I would recommend opening it after purchase in front of the cashier for proof.

    Gift Card

    If I could give it a 0 I would. I was scammed and went to return it and I was told I had to call their number. I called their number and the number said I needed to contact the merchant I purchased from, so I went back to the merchant and they gave me another number to call. I have to call in the morning but I’m pretty upset with the run around and everything being up in the air. I just think because this has been an ongoing problem Target would have already fixed this or found a way to protect what they are selling. It’s just an inconvenience.

    Fraudulent gift card

    If I could give this one star I would. Bought this gift cards for my daughter to take on a trip to universal. Both packages look good, it tempered with, #s adding up, all stickers and tabs on it. When we opened them to use them the last 4 #s were missing as well as the cvv. Talked to target, they "verified" that it was rung up successfully and they have me a # to Master card saying it was out of their hands and they couldn't do anything about it. Like you guys SOLD ME FRAUDULENT GIFT CARDS!! Now i have to go through this whole ordeal just to get my own money back and it was really inconvenient because my daughter didn't have the spending money for the trip.
