Supportive and comfortable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free of charge in exchange for my honest review. The new Martha Stewart green tea memory foam mattress is a mattress that, for me, needed some time (a week) to get used to. Previously, I was using a more plush mattress. This is not plush. It’s described as “medium” support but because I’m used to softer material, it definitely feels more on the firm side. I’m sure as I continue to use the product, it will begin to feel more plush to me. With that said, I do find the mattress to be quite comfortable. I wake up feeling refreshed with no body aches, a good sign of a mattress that is supporting my body. I have the mattress on a box spring and frame. I’m not sure if it would make a difference in any way if I just had the mattress on the floor. I have a mattress protector and a fitted sheet on the mattress, and it has still kept me cool at night. I don’t have any issues with the support/durability so far - I do wish the edges of the mattress were more supportive. I find the outermost edges of the mattress to have more “give” when I’m laying on those areas, making me feel like I might roll off the bed. I just scoot in a few more inches and it returns to a supportive feel. Overall, I feel this a cooling, supportive mattress that is a good introduction to memory foam for those new to it or for those who are looking for an update to their aging mattress.
