Very long-lasting pencil! Stays on for two days! The black in the shade ride or die is very black, just the way I like it. Highly recommend! Make sure to close the lid tightly, otherwise the pencil dries out and cannot be used.

This is my #1 eye liner to wear everyday. I love the bold color & all the benefits. I have been using this eye liner for 2 weeks now and I am in love! Before Mac, I was using another name brand and not only was it not long lasting, but also made my eyes red & irritated! I also had to reapply it several times a day! I literally have thrown out my previous eye liners! I am fed up with irritated eyes and reapplying over and over again. This eye liner is smooth, bold black, waterproof!!!, long lasting & perfect ! I am never wearing another brand again. Thank you Mac!

I'm really disappointed with this eye pencil. The texture is extremely hard and dry, making it painful to apply around the eyes. It doesn't glide at all and skips badly, leaving uneven lines. The color payoff is very weak, even after multiple strokes. On top of that, it smudges quickly and completely fades within a couple of hours. Definitely not worth the money—I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. The worst part is the item is non returnable because the item is on sale, which is annoying, please don't buy this worthless item

My eyelids are very sensitive. I am prone to styes. Most eye makeup irritates my eyes. I search for "opthalmologist tested" and "sensitive eyes". That lead me to MAC. I bought one of their shadow palettes a few months ago and it doesn't irritate my eyes. So I decided to try this pencil liner. It doesn't irritate my eyes and it's easy to use. I can put it on the water line without irritation.

I have these Mac eyeliners in tons of shades because they last all day and they have a narrow twist up tip. Easy to use. Don't pull. Don't smear. My holy grail.
