luminAID PackLite Nova USB Solar Lantern

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought this was really cool! It definitely comes in handy when all you have is the sun for power. I charged it for a little while and it was full when I checked on it a little over an hour later. The materials seem durable and the light seems waterproof but I haven't tested that theory. I will keep it around in case I need a reliable light source when power goes out. Very satisfied!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a women who loves to go out into the outdoors to go hiking or camping with my children, having peace of mind that I can have light in an emergency means so much to me! I got to partner with LuminAID to try out the LuminAID pack light and I get exactly that! Peace of mind! This is a compact, lightweight lantern that provides you with 4 settings of brightness and is also equipped with an SOS setting. As well as you can take it with you pretty much anywhere and everywhere because it’s so compact. All you have to do is use the charging cord to charge it or if you are charging it without electricity, place it into direct sunlight for 12 hours. It is also waterproof as long as you close the charging port correctly and super compact. The only part that I struggle with for using this is the strap connection but that’s more of a user error than I would say the quality of the product because once it is snapped together, it’s secure for sure!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will say that the solar part of this functioned great, it was easy to use, bright, charged fast and worked well for its intended use. The cons are that it’s not pop up, it’s inflatable. And I don’t know if it was just mine or a product flaw, but mine would not hold air. So it began leaking so the lantern would slowly get more and more deflated over time, losing its shape. Love that it folds flat though and has a latch to hold itself shut. Overall it was nice but has some design flaws.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion. This solar lantern is perfect for our camping trips. I love how compact it is. When folded flat, it doesn’t take up any space, which is prefect for travel or camping. Then when you need it, you just inflate it and it turns into a bright lantern. In the highest setting, it gives off a very bright light, and on lower setting it lasts a weekend camping trip without any issues. What comes super handy is the charging, you can either charge it via USB or with solar power. It’s also super lightweight and waterproof. It turned out to be very reliable and as such is great to have at home in case you experience an outage as well.

The only downside is that solar charging takes 10-12 hours. There is an optional cord to plug it in but I want to use it when outdoors camping.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This solar lantern turned out to be way smaller and lighter than I expected it to be. It’s super compact, folds down flat, and is surprisingly versatile. Even though it’s small, it’s really handy. I charged it with the USB cable for about 2 hours, then tried solar charging, which took around 10 hours, and it worked perfectly. One tap on the power button gives instant light. To inflate it, I just blew into the air valve on the bottom. It also has an adjustable strap that makes it easy to hang from my wrist, tent, or backpack, though I had trouble getting it to snap together. There are five brightness settings plus an SOS flashing mode. The brightest one ( 75 lumens ) lights up the inside of my tent nicely, but it’s not strong enough to cover large campsites. Plus it’s waterproof so I don’t have to worry if it gets caught in the rain. Overall, it’s a great little gadget for camping, power outages, or travel emergencies.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really cool product. It's easy to use. About the length of my hand. Has a snap handle, which I had a hard time getting to snap together. I have charged it in the house and out in the sun. Haven't charged it again for a couple of days and it wouldn't turn on. Not sure how long the charge will last. It has 3 different regular lights settings than one that flashes. Super cool, lightweight product.

It’s easy to inflate and packs down to basically nothing, so portability is a huge plus. My only real knock is the brightness could be much better. 75 lumens is nowhere near enough output.

The light lasts a long time and it has a very nice glowy effect. It’s lightweight and easy to bring along. Love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We tried this new solar lantern and were amazed at how easy and simple it is. We plugged it in because we don’t have much sun here right now. It charged quickly with the included charger. We thought the inflatable part was Interesting and easy to pack for camping We won’t go camping till spring but we tried it in our darkest room and it lit up very well It’s bright and the solar part will make it very reliable. Also it’s waterproof so that’s really nice. So far we love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am honestly obsessed with this lantern! It’s so lightweight and compact. You expand it my blowing through the bottom of the vent. But because of the vent the lantern doesn’t sit flat. It’s bright but it won’t replace an overhead light. The interface is fairly simple. The adjustable band allows you to hook it to whatever you want and is comfortable around your wrist. On the lowest setting and on a full charge, the pattern lasts a whole day. You can easily recharge the lantern by solar pattern or by usb.

We love having these on hand by our firepit area. My kids love that they can have it light up in their favorite color!

We have used this for camping in the past, but we are going to bring it trick-or-treating this year, love the multipurpose use!
