It used to be better.
I have been buying this product for a number of years. I feel that it worked better when I first started using it. I wish that it was the original formula. That being said, I will continue to order it because it works better than others I've used.

The smell is the typical soft powder scent. I think I prefer a normal stick but this was interesting and I love all the options for formula you get with Native!

My Lume Soft Powder Deodorant Experience
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using Lume Soft Powder Cream Deodorant Stick every day for a week now. First off, the Soft Powder scent is super fresh and clean without being too strong. From someone that sweats A LOT, when doing my daily errands I still felt & actually smelt fresh. For some added context, I have eczema and most deodorants make me break out under my arms. It’s annoying, itchy and uncomfortable. But when using Lume, I’ve had no flare ups or irritation which boost my confidence, especially during these hot days. I've also been using it on my thighs for chaffing and it's done wonders whenever I've worn skirts. I started out using it for 7 days but now it's my everyday deodorant. Honestly, if you’ve got sensitive skin like I do, this is worth trying. It’s gentle, it works, and it makes you feel good about yourself.

If I could give zero stars I would. I never write reviews but this is probably the worst smelling deodorant out there. I smelled it with the strip on and thought oh it smells subtle and nice. Wrong. It smells like a dead body when it comes out. Don’t buy this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started using my Lume deodorant stick the same day it arrived, right before heading out for a workout. At first, I was concerned because it didn’t have a strong scent, and I thought fragrance was necessary to control odor—but I was completely wrong. Not only has it kept me fresh, but it’s so effective that I’m ready to toss out all my other deodorants and recommend Lume to my friends and family. Nothing else has worked this well, despite many suggestions from my community. To give you an idea of how powerful it is: I came down with a cold on Thursday and, due to cultural beliefs, avoided showering until Sunday. Even then, I still didn’t have any body odor. Lume has truly exceeded my expectations.

LIFE CHANGING

I was not using any deodorant and was using a spray instead but was tired of the inconvenience of the spray and how messy it could get so decided to try solid deodorant again and this checked all the boxes. I was able to use it in AZ heat and it kept me SMELL FREE!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loving this deodorant! It’s hard to find a good deodorant that doesn't have bad chemicals and helps with odor. I have really sensitive armpits and other brands have irritated me. I love that this can be used in other areas and I don’t have to worry about it irrating my skin. It provides enough odor protection even when I’m sweaty! I’ll definitely be repurchasing and trying the other scents! This is one of the best aluminum free deodorants I’ve tried.

Light Scent, Clean Feel, and No Irritation

I applied it on my underarms and was surprised by how much I liked the formula. This was my first time trying a cream stick, and honestly, I think I like it better than a regular solid stick. It goes on smooth, dries quickly, and did not irritate my skin at all. The Soft Powder scent is light and reminds me of baby powder. It is subtle enough that it didn’t overpower my body spray or perfume, which I liked. I did notice the scent faded slightly throughout the day, but it still held up well overall. Even during busy or warmer days. One thing I learned early on is not to overapply. A little goes a long way, and putting on too much can lead to a bit of pilling. But once I figured that out, it felt clean and fresh all day. If you’re looking for something gentle that still does the job, it is a great alternative to typical stick deodorants.
