Lucid Hearing Enrich Pro OTC Hearing Aid Behind The Ear BTE 4 Programmable Settings Hearing Aid - Beige

I got this hearing aid for my 88 year old father, who never used a hearing aid in his life before, and he was able to hear with it immediately! He has had moderate hearing loss for the past 2-3 years and was always reluctant to try a hearing aid until recently. Finally, when he got his hearing checked at the doctor, the hearing aids they offered ranged from $2,500-$6,000 a pair and his insurance would not cover it. Furthermore, he was told it would take some time to get used to them. So he wanted to give up on it. I began researching hearing aids online and decided to order this one from Target because it had good reviews, was very affordable, and looked discreet. But most importantly, it gives you 90 days to try it out, so if my father didn't like it, I could get my money back. It turns out I don't need to worry about that at all. I was so pleasantly surprised that he could hear so clearly as soon as he put them on, I almost couldn't believe it. It really is Lucid! It is so light and discreet that you wouldn't be able to tell if someone is wearing it al all. He barely feels it in his ear. The only issue I have with it is how often you have to change the battery and how difficult it is for someone with poor vision (like my father)or someone with large fingers, to be able to do it by themself. I usually have to do it for him. But for such a great result and to see my father so happy after putting them on, it is such a minor issue. He hasn't heard this well in years and it was the best present I could have given him, and our whole family, on Father's Day!

I can't believe I how long I waited to accept that I needed hearing help. I am very pleased with Enrich and no one is the wiser that I am wearing them. It took a little time to get used to them, but I cant imagine going back to where I was a few weeks ago. It's amazing to realize hw much I was missing.

I have purchased several pairs of the lucid enriched pro sound amplifiers a back up pair and for a relative. These are exceptionally great! I've tried other brands to include hearing aids that were way more costly and they didn't work as well as my lucid. I am 51 and suffer with a rare form of cancer that has caused my hearing loss but with lucid you gave me my life back. I can hear again, Thank you. Please keep making these. They are the best!
