BD gift
Bought as a gift for my techy son. He was excited to receive it as this was an upgrade from your previous model.

Not as comfortable as MX3
Functionally - it's good. However, the MX3 was more comfortable to hold thanks to the curvier shape on the top. The MX3 was filling more naturally - this one doesn't. Not sure why Logitech decided to drop the tried and tested design.

Trying to get a grip on this mouse.
In the past, I owned a Logitec MX Master 2S. This one works just great, and admittedly, I haven't tried to use any of the new, latest tech features; just pointing and clicking. I liked the grip on the old one better. With this unit, it almost feels like my thumb is going to slip off the edge of the mouse. Maybe that was intentional in the design, but, just saying, it is consequently, a less comfortable feeling holding it when lifting it up off the desktop. Otherwise it is a great mouse! Maybe only half a star off of 5 would be more accurate.

Great Mouse
Upgraded to the 4 and still learning the features but it has helped me greatly and fits my hand wonderfully. I have always been a Logitech fan for years.

The best productivity mouse. I always get the newest generation as soon as it comes out, and it always delivers. Comfortable, connects to multiple devices, good tracking. 10/10

Great potential, but…
I had the MX Master 3, I think I prefer that one, slightly different thumb cluster. That said… if they add more apps with haptic support that might change my overall opinion. As for right know there are 3 apps that support the haptic, and its been a gimmick so far. (I want haptic feedback on mouse overs, or something useful, not a buzz when I join a zoom call…)

Great mouse
Best mouse I own though I think my hand is to big for it to be as comfortable as it could be. The quick action button doesn’t always work but I’m hoping maybe that’s on my end.

Greatness in quiet clicks
Hello, I am loving this mouse. It’s definitely an upgrade over my last mouse the mx master 3s for Mac. It’s quieter, buttons more responsive, the haptic button is programmable to single use or multiple. Also both wheels are improved. It’s definitely a nice upgrade. I give it 5 stars. Check videos out about the new mouse. It was worth it to upgrade to this mouse.

A great mouse!
Very comfortable, and I like that it's larger than the previous model. The haptic feedback feature is also really cool.

Awesome updates to the MX Master.
I love the updated thumb button and haptic feedback. I now have 6 people in my office now using this mouse.

Meh, it’s good but so is previous version.
Functionally, fine but no noticeable upgrade from previous version. Overall, it feels sluggish in my hand and the finish is too slick, new. Can’t grab and pickup the device without clicking the thumb button.

Totally worth it.
Big fan. Really good feeling, smooth operation, very comfortable, especially with a wrist support pad. All the function buttons really help the work flow, and I never thought I’d be such a fan of the horizontal scroll wheel.

Not the upgrade I hoped for
I’ve been using the MX Master 3 for years, and it’s been a lifesaver for my carpal tunnel. So I had very high expectations for the MX Master 4. Instead, it feels like something went wrong in the design process. The MX Master 4 is heavy, slicker, and much harder to grip. Even grip-enhancing stickers for gaming mice don't help. After a short time, my wrist burns, and my ring and pinky fingers ache unbearably. The shape just doesn’t feel natural in the hand anymore. The one thing I genuinely love is the haptic feedback. It’s clever, satisfying, and makes everyday work feel more responsive. If only the rest of the mouse lived up to that idea.

Disappoiting and downgrade from MX 3S
I had all previous MX and had high expectations. MX Master 4 is a downgrade in terms of changes and material quality. It feels slippery and less ergonomic due to slight increase in size. No onboard storage and requirement for app is ridiculous for a workhorse mouse that people use in corporate. IT doesn't allow 3rd party software download.

Good but disappointing
I had the MX Master 3 (non S) which I enjoyed a lot prior to the purchase of the 4. I was happy with the 3 but the external plastic/rubber shell had worn out due to 5 years of usage. I waited for months and was excited to finally purchase and receive the Master 4. First I noticed, the shell material is very different. It's slick, slippery as it made gripping difficult and to hold the mouse. The surface has a slight flatter angle, creating a more unnatural grip for my fingers to hold on the mouse. Then there's the added weight, the previous versions are heavy and this one is a lot heavier. After using the mouse for nearly a month, I find myself needing to pay a lot of attention with my hand and fingers on gripping the mouse. This led to quick tiring experience every time I use it. The thumb area is also slippery and the default haptic click was extremely sensitive which I ultimately had to disable. The software wheel function is useful, more useful depending on the app. The mag wheel is really nice, much more than previous version. Its roll is smooth and precise which is the best function of this mouse. The side buttons has a nice programmable feature which does offer productivity within certain application. The overall built quality is solid and top grade without a doubt. However, with all the fancy new features and modifications from the previous model, I decided to try something new, Keychron M6 8K. By comparison, the M6 is slimmer with a more traditional non-slippery plastic shell. It's smaller in dimension which made gripping and holding the mouse a lot easier. Moreover, it's lighter which is easier on my fingers and hand when using a mouse 8-10 hours a day. However, the wheel isn't a Master 4 as it truly is biggest disadvantage of the M6 mouse. I use both Windows and MacOS as its MacOS app function is truly lacking, the forward and backward buttons do not work in MacOS. After purchasing two mice in a month, I have decided to put my Master 4 aside. I will not return it as I will only use the M6 mouse instead. I'm greatly disappointed with the Master 4 but a mouse supposed to help my productivity without the need and effort to focus on how I should grip onto a mouse. I wish Logitech can have a smaller size for customers without a giant hand. I wish the weight of the mouse can be reduced. I also wish the material can go back to a more basic choice of non-slippery plastic shell like the M6. The haptic feedback is cute but I don't see the true intention of it. So until the next version of the Master mouse release along with a refined back to basic inclusion approach, I think I will continue to use the Keychron M6 mouse.
