There’s no chemical or plastic smell at all, which was one of my main concerns when switching from plastic containers. The glass is completely odor free right out of the box, and it doesn’t absorb food smells over time like plastic does. Cleaning these containers is super easy. The clear glass bowls are dishwasher safe, so I just pop them in after use and they come out sparkling clean. The smooth glass surface doesn’t stain or hold onto food residue, and everything washes off easily. The lids are also easy to clean, though I hand wash them to keep them in good shape. Appearance wise, these containers look beautiful! The clear glass lets you see exactly what’s inside without opening them, and the multi colored lids in yellow, blue, and purple add a fun pop of color to my fridge and pantry. They look clean and organized when stacked, way nicer than my old mismatched plastic containers. The glass has a quality, thick look to it that feels premium. Weight is the only consideration here. The glass is definitely heavier than plastic containers, especially when filled with food. The bowls are sturdy and substantial, which speaks to their durability, but you’ll notice the weight difference if you’re used to lightweight plastic. That said, the weight doesn’t bother me because it’s a sign of quality construction. As for breakage, I’ve been careful with these and haven’t had any issues. The glass feels thick and durable, not thin or flimsy. That being said, they are glass, so you do need to handle them with care and avoid dropping them. I wouldn’t let young kids carry the larger bowls unsupervised. One thing I should mention is that the lids can be hard to take out once they’re snapped on. They fit really securely, which is great for keeping food fresh and preventing leaks, but sometimes you need to work at getting them off, especially on the smaller bowls. It’s a minor inconvenience for the tight seal they provide.

They are super durable and the lids fit tight. When not in use, they stack together nicely. They do a great job at being insulated if you have warm food. I definitely would recommend this set for those who want to switch to glass or want nicer storage containers!

The lids and bowls are sturdy. The best part is they are glass so you can store items without staining or odors sticking around! They stack nice in the fridge and can easily be popped in the microwave for reheating and then toss it in the dishwasher for easy cleanup.

I prefer more of a square or circular container that has straight edges rather than curving in at the bottoms. The lids are also a little hard to get off. They do seem like they are pretty air tight though. The lids seem like they may not last a long time depending on how often you wash.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly I love the quality of these! The glass is heavy duty and the plastic lids are also good quality. I wanted to love these more than I do though. The lids are easy to close but opening them on the other hand is way too difficult. I wanted to give this a higher rating but because taking the lids off is too difficult I have to keep this at 3 stars.
