Spicy, powdery, creamy. So lovely. It's scent is so beautiful I wish to preserve, but I must wear and my mind yearns to smell it again. I have been very pleased and surprised by the Les Legendaires collection. I have purchased mostly all of them available in the US for shipping, with L'instant de Guerlain being my signature, daily scent. There is something unique to the L'Heure Bleue i adore, has to be the aniseed and carnation spiciness along with the creamy dry down. So alluring.

L’ Heure Bleu is awesome! Oldie but a goodie! A fragrant adult scent for a white cloth dinner and dancing.

I have always been fascinated with the pre-WWI era, and finding a perfume that has been launched in 1912 was an unbelievably valuable find for me. I am 24 years old, and I understood that a perfume this old might not be wearable for me, but I would at least be able to display it on my vanity. Well, guess what? This is the most successful blind buy ever! This is my new signature perfume. After the initial burst of spices and floral notes, the fragrance settles into a sensual vanilla powdery scent. Unlike other vintage fragrances I tried, it is not overwhelming, and is appropriate for office wear. I wear it every single day now and am thinking of buying another bottle. Thank you Guerlain for making these masterpieces and helping me find my signature scent after years of switching different perfumes.

My mother has worn this scent in all forms more than 50 years. It is the only scent she wears. I keep her well stocked. I wish the lotion, powder and soap were still available for her. Such an extraordinary subtle scent.

This exquisite perfume has been a family favorite since my grandfather brought it home as a gift for my grandmother after World War II, and now we have three generations of women in our family wearing it!

I purchased L’Heure Bleue and find the scent intoxicating…while it lasts…and that’s only 10 minutes. Very disappointing. I don’t think I’d buy any more Guerlain perfumes if they are like this.

I compared this with the vintage EDP – it has lost much of the classic layered quality of Guerlain fragrances. This opens with a spicy, powdery cocoon, then fades quite quickly. Not bad, just not as good as it should be.

I am so pleased, first of all delivery was quick the parcel was so nice, well packed and the added samples were super I gave them to my Mother. My name engraved on the perfume bottle was so different.

I got this perfume because I read it what was Queen Elizabeth wore. I know kings of silly but I had a feeling that it was going to be a wonderful old scent, and I was right. I don’t wear it every day but I do wear it and love it. Very nostalgic. Reminds me of one of my mother’s favorites.
