Well this set is just a beyond beautiful, it’s also quite a Big set so expect to clear half your shelves of smaller sets . Great build and with some absolutely amazing build techniques. Yes the roof tiles are boring as hell to get done but the result is gorgeous. Worth the money just about , nice build yes overall yes , if you like big builds this is a good one This is definitely a showcase item

This set is absolutely stunning i adore it. Yes the price is really high and therefore not every LOTR fan will be able to afford it but if you can i would save up and get this one out of all three new sets.

Gorgeous set and fun build
Quite possibly the most beautiful set I’ve ever built. I love all the little details that really make this a dynamic and gorgeous build. It’s hard to justify a 500 dollar price tag for any set of Legos, but if there is a set that can justify it, this is the set that can. I probably spent over 20 hours building this set, and I almost want to take it all apart just so I can build it again.

One of my favorite sets ever!
I have several Lego sets and this was my second LOTR one… and by far, one of my favorite sets ever! As a set itself, this is one of the most intricate, incredible details and the build experience was absolutely amazing. The details of the structure, the great blend of colors, the trees and of course, the tile roof are all details worth calling out! I only like to build the larger sets and this was amazing!

my grandma loves lotr and owns the shire barad dur and this she bought them all upon release and recently for my birthday she got me this i got it and there was no problems no nothing i bought an extra banner and elf swords and built a rivendell army and i have helms deep and the uruk hai army set so this set is amazing love it and i love the fact lego includes siting pieces for elrond and the hobbits my favorite part is each weapon has atleast 2 so i used the extra swords and the shards to make talion from shadow of mordor which is a good game i recommend also that could be a good idea after obviously the white city but i think it would sell well because they are good games i recommend this for tolkien fans and fans of the movies

A stunning set. Plenty of minifigs, tons of detail, good easter eggs during the build process, lots of printed tiles, a variety of film scenes, and genuinely surprising techniques abound. You can't go wrong; this set is phenomenal. I took away a star because my set was missing multiple pieces.

The final product of this set is really beautiful. The colors, the textures, the depth. But the build itself was lackluster compared to some other less expensive builds. I love Lord of the Rings, I adore the movies and it feels so nice to interact with this set, but the build itself left me a little disappointed. It's fickle!

What a great set!
This set is extra special. I get myself one awesome Lego set every year for Christmas, and this year I went ahead and ordered my set early to get the double points that were being offered. The Lord of the Rings is one of my favorite fictional series, and this set comes with a LOT of minifigures, so I’m able to play with the set in ways I can’t play with other big sets I’ve bought myself. I love my Cathedral of Notre Dame, and my Grand Piano, but this set is one I get to actually play with. It’s an amazing and fun build. The details are wonderful. I love having the shards of Narsil and the One Ring. I like being able to set up the council, and Bilbo and Frodo meeting in his room. I love this set!

The Most Beautiful Build
This set is absolutely outstanding!!! I got it in 2023 as a Christmas gift and enjoyed every minute building it for 22 hours. I could barely sleep! I wanted to keep building and would totally take it all apart just to rebuild it. The architecture is just stunning and beautiful. The nature in the set just feels so realistic. This is my favorite set I've ever had. Would love to see more Lord of The Rings builds in the future

Missing bag
For a set as expensive as this, missing a whole bag is unacceptable. My child is stuck in the middle of the build not sure what to do next as I have not heard back from Lego. The only option is to report missing bricks. What should we do when we are missing a whole bag.

Brilliant!
I love this set. It has detail after detail that is just so enjoyable to discover as you build. The roof pattern was tedious, but I loved the way it looks. Fairly priced too (especially compared to some of the Star Wars prices...) given the piece count.
