Kings Castle
I have been to the real castle several times. This set does it extremely well, the accuracy and detail are way better then any I've seen or expected. I hope you make sets of Linderhof and the King's House on Sachen. That would made a great collection!

Neuschwanstein Castle
I bought the Neuschwanstein Castle for my son who is in the Navy, for Christmas! He is a Lego fan and absolutely loved the gift. He couldn’t wait to build it! Beautiful castle to say the least! Thank you so much!

Beautiful model, instructions could be improved
My wife and I bought this as a compromise, she loves jigsaw puzzles & I don’t, but we wanted a shared quiet, focusing activity. Our son was a huge Lego Star Wars fan, and at 27 still has his Lego Death Star. This was a challenge to build, some of the instructional drawings didn’t give the best perspective of the pieces or how the fit together, especially when building both sides of a section that were not identical. Also telling the colors of some of the parts was somewhat difficult when you have a bag with several different shades of the same color family. I also agree with other reviewers about the large tower’s stability, any movement of the model and you can see it wobble. I will probably take it apart and add some “sticky-tack” poster adhesive to a few of the joints where the shafts connect, and where it connects to the base, in order to stop the wobbles. All in all though, we really did enjoy the project, and will display it in our home. We have already purchased Himeji Castle for our next one. I wish that the US Capitol & White House models were still available, as we would like to build those too.

Beautiful but…
It looks beautiful I love the castle and the overall build but it is one of the worst case of inflated pieces count and it really need to stop! Almost every piece is 1x1 and even in places where it makes no sense. There is so many places where there is a 1x1 that should have been 2 x 1 and it makes the build less sturdy. I’ve had walls fall apart multiple times because they used tiny parts instead of proper 1×2 bricks that would have fixed the issue. I’ve been waiting for this set for a long time, and it really does look great in my collection, but the actual build experience was infuriating. Not because it was difficult, but because I genuinely felt cheated.

Great build - and a nice display piece
I've had a soft spot for Schloss N since I was a kid. This set nicely does the original justice. First architecture set I've built - I really like the smaller scale and finer detail. A lot of thought (and skill !) has clearly gone into the design. The 3D building instructions in the builder app really come into their own on a complex 3D build like this ( I always use the builder app now). The end result makes a really nice display piece.

Completely unenjoyable
I LOVE the architecture series. But this was an absolute abomination. So many of the studs and bricks were left hanging intentionally, with a completely hollow inner shell. The instructions had 3 "major" errors, and it took several attempts to rectify the missing/erroneous parts. Compared to Notre Dame, this was a TERRIBLE purchase. Do better lego.

Epic
Not only was this an amazing build, the history behind the Castle was amazing. Building something that is patterned after something real makes the experience that much better.

Damaged
Product came damaged. Looks like someone used the box as a punching bag. Now I have to waste time returning it and waiting for a replacement.

Tedious build
I was really looking forward to this build and the overall result is ok (Fall colors look better), but the scale is so small that you end up with sooo many tiny individual bricks. I would normally have a completed a build this size in a week or so...this took me over a month and I built two other sets in the interim. It was just hard to get into it. One of the bags also had 5 of the wrong pieces (supposed to be solid sand single round pieces and they were gold perforated pieces that didn't match the surrounding brick). I scavenged from my smalls leftovers from many other sets for all but one, but was still kind of annoying. By contrast, the Botanical Garden and Gumball Machine were fun builds. It does go well into my "travel memories" collection, but if you're just looking for a fun build, lego has some better options.

A perfect architecture set!
Definitely one of the best builds I've done in a while, for the small windows, I didn't find them annoying so I practically just zoned out while putting them on haha!

Not for the faint of heart
The castle is pieced together on four single rail bricks that balance on one link on each end. There is no support under the middle of the structure and it is virtually impossible to snap the individual builds into place without risk of total collapse. Definitely not a beginner build - needs to be a builder with lots of extra bricks on hand to stabilize the structure properly from the start.

Amazing work completing the set, it couldn't have been easy! We're sorry to hear that you've found difficulty keeping the set together during your build. If you wish to rebuild the set, we'd suggest double checking your build as there may be a piece slightly off from where it should be and make sure each piece is pressed tightly together. So that the build doesn't totally collapse when connecting the individual builds. Please reach out to us at LEGO.build/Service-BV so our brickhelpers can help with any guidance with your set and keep the castle walls standing strong!

Neuschwanstein Castle
Half way done. Up to this point clear direction pieces fit seamlessly. Me and wife have lots of fun putting it together. Brought back memories of visiting the real castle back in the late 80's.

To many small windows
The majority of your time will be attempting to straighten the small windows (why not print the small windows onto 1x1 bricks), what a missed opportunity for a 10/10 set.
