I got this set because i needed something to do but you should not buy it. I'm only on bag 2 and 3 pieces just were not in the bag i have a little bucket to put everything in. So unless you have a lot of extra pieces don't buy it.

So smooth. So sleek.
Love the shaping of this guy. I'm not a movie person but this critter caught my eye. Something like a flying fish crossed with a marlin, very unique. The fin/ wing sheets have nice patterning and detail, but what I love the most is the shape. It just feels satisfying to touch and imagine it sliding effortlessly through water and air alike. The segmented body allows for decent poseability, and new animal heads are always nice to see.

A great set! Very good for play and display! Great minifigures! Great head mold! From a distance, the Skimwing looks as if was taken out of the motion picture. Great printing on both sides of the vinyl wings.

So not only could the kiddos be entertained by a spectacle of a movie but they get to build and play with a part of said movie at home. It just adds to the movie magic for them. Really cool set and not overly difficult to put together for them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you're a fan of Avatar: The Way of Water. this is a great set for you! It's not super difficult or time-consuming, but it's got quite a few unique techniques that I haven't seen in other sets, or at least not very often. And the plastic wings are super cool! In addition to the banshee, it also comes with to larger-than-normal minifigs and underwater accessories. It's good for any Lego lover, especially those who love them some Avatar!

Amazing little display piece
Big fan of the movie and creature designs so I got this as a display. I was at first skeptical of the vinyl on the wings but in person this set looks so good. Box art and promo images don't do the build justice in my opinion, definitely recommend it if you liked the movie and want a nice model on your shelf.

Another awesome Lego set!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Skimwing Adventure is another awesome set by Lego featuring the creature from the new Avatar movie! My son absolutely loved it. As all Lego sets usually do, the set came with the instruction booklet and separate bags labeled for each section. He followed along with the book and the set turned out great. Really cool and it got him excited to see the new movie!

Great legos
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although I am a big kid and wanted so much to put the together myself, I did not. I saved it for my grandson who loved it. It took him about 30 minutes to put it together and that is with 2 other grandparent hovering around him asking questions. The legos itself were amazing. After he was done we put it on display with all the other legos he and I have put together.

When I gave him this he immediately started putting it together. He is 8 and it took him like 45 minutes to complete the build. I liked the vivid details on the pieces and was a beautiful piece when he was done.
