Leaking after 2 uses

Leaking after 2 uses. Am I doing something wrong. I've hand washed this cup and still it started leaking out the bottom. The bamboo base spins and I'm not sure why. Also, the straw is glass. It might seem cool but it's not fun being super careful washing a glass straw.
