Description
Quickly warm the room you’re in with the Ceramic Tower Heater with Remote Control from Lasko. This heater features an extended heat zone with 1500 watts of comforting warmth. The simple electronic controls with digital display make it easy to read the room temperature and thermostat setting. Q: How can a heater break after two winters? This heater keeps shutting off and now I smell burning. I bought this one specifically because I have others of the same brand that are smaller and have worked for years. Very disappointed

Q: Can this unit be programmed to come on at certain times, ie. 5am, 10:30pm etc?

A: The unit cannot be programmed to automatically turn on at specific times (such as 5:00 AM or 10:30 PM). The available timer function is designed only to shut the unit off after a set duration of operation.

A: Yes, be sure it's plugged directly into a wall unit; do not EVER use an Extension cord or Power Strip. Keep the heater at least three feet away from curtains and rugs.

good till it stops working
I bought once of these last year to use to keep my pets warm when it is too cold got them. I plug it back in as it gets cold this year and it stops working after a few weeks into this winter. it was relitivly good at keeping the tempriture stable in my small reptile room, and the thermostat was good, but it just stopped working after a year of having it

Quite, Large room, Heater perfect for basements or large bedrooms
I love that it works, That it is ridiculously quiet, and can heat a large space. I have had trouble finding a heater at a good price point that can heat my large basement bedroom. This one does with ease. It takes it no longer than 30 to heat a large 500sq ft room with cold air leaks. Don't even feel those anymore. It's also so quiet that even when I know it's on I've doubled checked to see if I could see it turned on only because the room temperature felt great and I couldn't hear it. This is the first heater I would recommend.

Doesnt work after 7 months of use.
I’ve only had the heater 7months and it already gave out. No longer works won’t stay on at all. Unfortunately I can’t return it I didn’t think of getting the warranty caused I decided to trust the product. That’s my fault.
