A: Unit model CS27650 has the base oscillation functionality where it oscillates from left to right (vice versa). The oscillation feature does not turn on automatically as you need to press the Base Oscillation Button either directly from the unit or using the remote to start/stop the base oscillation.

Tip Over Protection Not Working
Tip over protection which was noted in the item description doesn't work. Tested by picking heater up, and it remained on. Tried tipping over in various directions and after ten tried ms. Only one time did the unit shut off. Even tipping the unit toward did not engage. This can be a definite safety hazard as the stand itself doesn't have any weight to it. My old Honeywells you even move it an inch form horizontal they shut off. It does heat a small room fairly quickly out of the box. 65 degree room went to 72 in a little more than ten minutes.

No Cool Housing for Kids
This will heat a room, but it advertises cool touch for children - it’s NOT cool. We have 2 other heaters and they don’t get this hot. My toddler touched it and cried right away. I don’t know if it could get hot enough to blister, but it was definitely burning when I tested with my own hand after. I only chose this bc I have a toddler! Ugh

Very pleased with this heater. Most Tower heaters don't have blower speed settings, so they work well but are incredibly noisy. This one has three heat settings and can be whisper quiet if desired. It heats a bedroom very well and this has been a great purchase.
