La Roche Posay Toleriane Hydrating Facial Cleanser

I have been using Cerave cleanser for past 7 years and finally this one convinced me to switch! Skin feels hydrating after using cleanser which is great.. I had very dry skin after using Cerave cleanser.

skin started going crazy after i started using this. it burns once you get it to sud and starting breaking out worse than ever.

It gave me contact dermatitis.

This is an absolute mess in my skin. My skin care it helps protect a moist in my skin. It also make sure it hydrate and it has a beautiful scent. It is one of my go to!

I am satisfied with this product. I’ve only been using it for 2 to 3 weeks. It’s officially winter and my skin is dry. This gentle wash does not leave my face feeling dry after use. It has not bothered my rosacea at all! I’m not sure if it’s helping or hurting my acne. Would I buy it again? Yes. But I wouldn’t say I love it.

I’ve been loyal to this cleanser for some time. However, they changed the formula without knowing. They could have at the least put “new formula” on the bottle. I’ve been trying to figure out why my skin has been completely messed up with red bumps and rashes without changing anything in my routine. After stopping this, it’s starting to clear up but had completely ruined my skin and will take time to heal to normal. Definitely not gentle anymore.

I never wrote reviews on cleaners but people need to know how bad this is. I gave it a couple of weeks to see how it works, with horrible results. When I washed my face with this in the shower it seems to install dry onto your skin. I have a new big red pimple right under my eye area which is definitely from this. After the shower even with applying a prescription moisturizer, my skin was still tight and very dry. I don't recommend buying this at all unless you want to damaged your skin even more then it is.

Caused contact dermatitis. I've been using this product for over a year now and it has worked wonderfully. After buying a refill, I couldn't figure out what was causing an insistent rash and burning on my face. My dermatologist said it had to be something I was using on my face and to stop using it. Buying a refill of this wash is the only thing that has changed. I come to the reviews only to see that the company has changed the formula and others are also experiencing irritation. These companies should let people know when they change their formula. They have ruined a great product.

Allergic reaction, burning and tingling to my face.

My skin was fine. I decided to use this cleanser bc I was in a trip and lost my usual soap. Next day i started to using my skin was very dry and I start noticing a breakout I thought it was bc it’s a new product so my face needed to adapt but I keep using it and it started burning my face, the breakouts are worse and now I’m dealing with acne when I haven’t had acne for like 3 years. It’s not good for sensitive skin, as soon as I apply the soap my skin started feeling hot

This is an awful cleanser. They clearly reformulated because it used to be incredibly milky and would lather up a bit. It used to be amazing and one I repurchased multiple times. I don't know why brands mess with a good product. It does not cleanse properly. It's clearish, doesn't lather, and reminds me of the Toleriane dermo-cleanser sensitive skin which is awful.SKIP.

Burned and irritated my face. I would not recommend it.

I have very dry sensitive skin yet, I have never enjoyed using creamy cleansers because they don’t actually moisturize or make my skin feel calm and they don’t even clean very well so I have used a salicylic acid cleanser my entire life because it was the only thing that made my face feel clean. But I finally got on the double cleanse bandwagon and it has been a game changer. I’ve been using a cleansing balm every night to loosen up all the gunk, and then I follow it up with this hydrating cleanser, and all the impurities on my face just slide right off. When I dry my face, it is so moisturized I can even go without adding any lotion afterwards if I want to. Historically, my face literally hurts and begins to crack after washing if I don’t add a moisturizer right away. So this cleanser has been pivotal in Restoring skin barrier and giving me the type of skin I didn’t even know it was physically possible for me.

La Roche Posay is an excellent skin care brand.

Not gentle, not cleansing… didn’t take off my make up at all and it burns. I’ll give it a few more days but it’s not looking promising.

I’ve been using this cleanser for a bit, and overall it’s a gentle option. It doesn’t foam much, but it still spreads easily and feels soft on the skin. After rinsing, my face feels clean but not stripped or tight. The only small downside for me is that it can leave a slight residue or “creamy” feel afterward. It’s not heavy or greasy, just different from the squeaky-clean finish some cleansers have. Once I follow with toner or moisturizer, it’s not an issue. If you prefer a mild, hydrating cleanser with a non-foaming texture, this is a solid choice.

I was excited to try this because I love using La Roche Posay B5 balm and other products. But, this burns my face.

This cleanser is so gentle and effective. It removes my makeup without stripping my skin or making it feel tight. Perfect for sensitive skin and super reliable for everyday use. This product has a very nice lather when combined with water.

This facial cleanser is so watery it's difficult to get it from your hands to your face.
