Unusable white cast
The white cast left by Anthelios SPF 50 Gentle Lotion Mineral Sunscreen renders it publicly unusable. I am a pale person, and I look like I’m doing cultural appropriation with how white it is. It barely fades down after application. I have to mix it with 75% of a tinted sunscreen that is too orange for me just to make it look a little bit like a skin tone.

SPF
The packaging of this SPF is a large squeeze tube! The reason I like this SPF is because it does not make your skin look oily. It does not leave a residue and it is water resistant up to 60 minutes and it has broad spectrum as SPF in it and it’s also gentle on your skin you can’t even use this on your little ones. THIS SPF ALSO HAS UVA PLUS UVB WHICH I BELIEVE ALL SUNSCREENS NEED THIS OR SHOULD HAVE THIS! This SPF is also suitable for sensitive skin. It is pediatrician and dermatologist tested. It is fragrance free and paraben free… This SPF absorbs immediately into the skin it glides someone like a lotion, but absorbs immediately leaving no white cast! The coverage is amazing that it provides because a little goes along way and with it being waterproof you don’t have to add as many times throughout the day. This can also be applied to your face and to your body. This is the only SPF I have been using since I have tried this if you are on the market for a new SPF give give this one a try you will not be disappointed. It is one of the best on the market!

Great product, matte finish, not a big white cast.
This product is amazing and I love how it doesn’t leave that weird greasy look after and leaves a matte finish! I hate how I look tanned so this definitely helped me stop tanning! One thing that could be better is maybe how fast it dries into your skin so that I don’t leave the house with white spots I didn’t notice.

Loving La Roche-Posay Anthelios SPF 50. Scent is mild, packaging is handy but could use a pump. Texture’s light, non-greasy. Ingredients are clean zinc oxide, vitamin E. SPF 50 offers great sun protection.

Perfect for sensitive skin
I have super sensitive skin, I unfortunately get a sun rash. I can wholeheartedly say this cream is the only one I can use safely, i haven’t burned at all, great sun protection, amazing texture - it doesn’t feel oily at all, it absorbs well and it is waterproof as well. I absolutely love it and it is the only sunscreen i will ever use

Doesn’t make me break out!
I love this so much! Offers great protection and its non greasy! It doesnt make me look oily or break me out, so I can wear it every day and have clear skin. Its a good thickness, and I dont need too much to cover my whole face and neck. It is on the pricey side, but it is one if the few daily sunscreens Ive tried that hasnt made my skin look bad.

Mineral SPF 50 SKINCARE MUST
La Roche-Posay sunscreen has been my go to forever!!! Especially the tinted one calmed mineral sunscreen Anthelios! Spf 50, great with and without makeup! I love my skin and care VERY much about my skincare routine. I own a lot of spf and this is a constant!!! I have freckles and I don’t want to darken them up anymore I don’t want blotchy skin, I want to stay protected, cancer is very real! Spf is a must, and I prefer mineral vs chemical sunscreen. Trust me my friends, you need to try this!

The only sunscreen I’ll ever use! Yes, it has a white cast but the zinc is so soothing for the skin. I wear this daily, even on days when I don’t see much sun. It wears fine under makeup and the oil free formula doesn’t irritate my very sensitive acne-prone skin. My go-to!

Not for people of color
Under no circumstances should a person of color purchase this. The white cast will have you looking like a ghost. Also you cannot return this if opened. I’ll think long and hard before ordered from this company again.

Amazing sun protection for rosacea prone skin
I have used this sunscreen for about a year now and I love it. I feel the difference in my skin when I wear this in the sun. My face feels noticeably cooler and less flushed. I also have not developed any new or darkening of my hyperpigmentation spots while wearing this as well. Even though this does have a white cast and is pretty thick, the protection is amazing. This may not be the best product if you are looking for a daily sunscreen to wear to work and you do not have underlying skin sensitivities or rosacea. This is a wonderful sunscreen for the working out outdoors, yard work, or beach or travel days with lots of sun exposure. If you have sensitive rosacea prone skin I would still give this a try for daily sunscreen use. This is more cosmetically elegant than the Vanicream sport sunscreen and is seriously sweat resistant. I still wear this to work during the peak of summer. I would be careful when applying sunscreen powder over this. It tends to form an impenetrable paste that requires an oil cleanser to remove.

severe allergic reaction on face.
My mom got a severe allergic reaction on her face. The facial redness was also hot, firm, and included parts of the face that did not have lotion, like the eyelids. The rash stopped after she stopped using the lotion. I didn’t believe it at first but we tried both the mineral and non mineral formulation. The rash came back the min she put on the mineral one.

Look like white-out. not for me
I didn't notice I bought the Mineral and not my regular SPF60. I was in Greece, put it on and i was white as a ghost and it took forever to get off (thick, thick cream). After that one partial application I threw it out. Wish I returned it but didn't want to carry around in EU.then to USA.
