L'Oreal Paris Faux Brow Eyebrow Tint Double Brush Brow Pen - 0.03 fl oz

Got blond and it looks more red than blonde. The color is not right for me I like the concept but very disappointed in the color.

I like the idea of this brow pen. The ink quality is nice, it seems to last long, and the fact that it is a dual tip seems to give a realistic look. HOWEVER...I have blonde hair, so I bought the blonde color. It is RED. Red as the day is long. It looks like my hair is on fire, like I have an allergic reaction, there is no WAY this could be confused for realistic eyebrow color for anyone except a person with natural red eyebrows. This item is too expensive to then just go buy the other Dark Blonde color (which looks like it'll be too dark--I have light blonde hair), so what's the point in trying to find the right color? I have had to cover the L'Oreal faux brow tint pen with other eyebrow products in order to even leave my house, the color is that bad. (I wish I could revise this post in the future to show you a photo of what it looks like--I've already covered the pen with other product today so you can't see how bad it is!) The color on the packaging is incredibly misleading. I wouldn't recommend using this product unless you have dark hair, apparently, as it appears that the dark brown/brunette/black pens work great for those lucky people who have thick brows and just need to fill in a few sparse spots. For those of use with light brows who need a lot of help to create brows that can be seen, this is NOT the product for you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always had thin very light eyebrows so when I found this product I was extadic. I love the product and it make my brows look so natural. The only issue i have is the top will not stay on which is causing it to dry out. Is there a way to keep the top on? With the price of the product, I can't afford it drying out due to a top.

This looked awful like wet marker, took back for refund

When I use the pen on the back of my hand it makes nice hairlike strokes. As soon as I use it near my eyebrow they’re either non-existent or they’re bold and blobby.

I would give it 5 stars if the cap didn’t break with every single pen I’ve bought. After a couple uses the cap cracks, then it will pop off every time you try to put it back on. Thus, making the brushes dry and not able to use. Before it breaks, it works wonderfully. Love the natural brow look. Bad cap design. Not worth the money though when I get the same result three times.

Bought dark blond, brunette and expresso trying to achieve simple brown. All 3 with underlying red hue. Does not write solid but more like sheer. Needs several coats which causes pilling.

The reason Faux Brow has poor reviews is there is a learning curve for this product, it takes a few uses to figure out the proper amount, angle and lightness of stroke for the best outcome. Once it is mastered, this is the perfect brow pen. I have virtually non-existent brows - what hair I have is so thin and light it's invisible. This pen, along with Maybelline's brow "fluff mousse" applied to my hairs (after the pen), make it appear as though I have actual brows with depth to them. One caveat: if a mistake is made, wipe it immediately with a slightly wet cotton swab or it will not come off. I find this to be another feature of Faux Brow - it lasts until washed off. I've slept in it and it didn't budge. :o) For a person who's used almost every brand, price point and type of brow filler on the market, from Dior to elf, this is the best I've ever encountered. My brows appear real and perfectly shaped without the worry of them wiping off or smudging. I use the dark blonde color, I have very light reddish brown hair. The reason I didn't buy auburn or mahogany is I like a more neutral brow color. I think these pen colors may run a little dark because even with dark blonde i have to avoid going over the "first coat" or they will appear too dark for my taste. For we "browless" or extremely thin/light brows, my advice is to try Faux Brow and be patient until you find the best way to apply it for your purposes. It is absolutely worth buying, in a few trys, you'll be able to quickly apply and have great brows.

I loved the product itself. As someone with alopecia that has caused me to lose half of my brows, this product has helped boost my confidence by filling in the missing spots. Unfortunately I just threw out my second pen in a matter of months because the cap is spring loaded and flies off. Both of them dried out. I am very reluctant to spend money on another one until they fix this issues.

I bought dark brunette and it was perfect! I have dark brown close to black color eyebrows. I tend to go with a color slightly lighter to make it look more natural. Easy to use- I used light strokes to help fill in areas that I wanted to make look a little fuller. This is my to-go-to brow liner moving forward, no more pencil. 😀

I wanted to love it I really tried. I absolutely love this brand. I purchased it, brought it home. It pulled way to red for some reason and I shook it like it said before hand too, made sure it was closed. It leaked badly, all over my bag. I got it cleaned up, bag and component. I opened it to try to use it again and boy...... It leaked out of the tip and since I was trying to do my eyebrows it leaked on my face, literally all down and into my eye. Very bad experience.

This product is hard to use. It does not look natural, and once it's on, it's hard to get off if there's an application mistake. In the trash it goes.

I need to change the color to lighter otherwiseI like the precision on applying. Very easy to use.

I like that this faux brow pen actually makes strokes that look like eyebrows. Make sure to get the right color. it took me 3 times before I got the perfect color for my skin tone. It stays on very well so may need apply makeup remover.

Perfect ! Easy to apply and it’s long lasting

when opening this item, I found that the item was missing. I called multiple times to attempt to resolve the issue and was hung up on, unable to get a refund for not receiving the product i had paid for. this is unacceptable.

It’s nice, but the color was SO much darker than I anticipated.. that one could very well be on me. I just anticipated it to be a lot lighter.
