More flavorful meals!

I bought this a couple of days ago, and love it. Have had the Duromatic 3050 3.5L sauce pan for about five years and use it several times every week. It is great, but the fry pan is a great way to brown potatoes, then cook quickly. It allows the option of then adding vegetables. It provides more variety for vegan meals as browning or braising is an option. I expect to use this a lot as the meals are more flavorful.

Great pan!

Seems very well built and has been a joy to use. It’s now my go to pan for weekday meals. It’s a perfect size for two people to have dinner and enough for lunch the next day. I only wish I had known about these manual pressure cookers sooner!

What's with the minimal size change???

I owned the previous version of this size, except the current one is a bit larger and now the interchangeable lids that I also used with my 5L pot don't work, so if I want a glass lid for the above pot I'll have to buy another one and that sucks. Change the size a little and the consumer will have to buy everything again, win-win for Kuhn-Rikon and we lose. I didn't expect that from a European manufacturer. The quality of the pan still seems good, though.

Most useful PC pan in the house!

I had a 20+ year-old smaller version of this pan, which I used all the time, but it finally bit the dust. This larger size is fantastic and so well made. Great for our two-person meals, and easy to store. Love it!
