When I’m not wearing my hair in a messy bun or ponytail, I usually wear it down, and because it’s very fine and long, flyaways are always an issue. Unfortunately, I didn’t notice any real improvement after using this hairspray. My daughter, who has fine curly hair, wasn’t a fan either. It ultimately comes down to personal preference, but she prefers Garnier Fructis Style Extreme Control over this one.

A great dual purpose product for my hair!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fact that this is a heat protectant/workable hairspray gave me doubts at first. However, I really enjoyed this product while doing my hair. I used it when I was straightening my hair and it worked great and helped hold the straightness longer. I also love that it’s brushable texture and can be layered for more hold when needed. There was a very light scent and I could hardly notice it throughout the day. I love when products have dual purposes, and this is definitely one of those! I didn’t notice any spots or “flakes” that hairspray can leave and it didn’t weigh my hair down at all. Definitely adding this to my hair styling routine!

Only just a heat protectant
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] According to claim, This Kristin Ess workable Hairspray is a heat protectant and can be use as hair styling or straightening spray before using hot tools which I totally disagree. I think its only a heat protectant and not used as hair styling spray to hold your curls longer. The scent of all Kristin Ess products are same which is not my favorite but its bearable. It smells like acetone. It didn’t help to tame my frizzy hair. The spray nozzle was good and it sprayed a fine mist in a consistent manner whenever I used it but overall its just ok product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] BEFORE and AFTER photos speak for themselves! Loving this hair spray!! It is so hard to find a good hairspray. This one doesn’t make my hair crunchy, sticky or tangled. I feel like I used a lot the first time and it didn’t turn my hair disgusting. Instead it gave me volume and sleekness. I will be switching out my hairspray to this one moving forward. I am impressed!

Super Light and Workable without the Sticky!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Kristin Ess Workable Hairspray is the best smelling hair spray I have ever smelled. Besides the scent being amazing yet not overpowering or smelling of alcohol, the packaging is also very sleek and clean. I have used this hairspray for a couple weeks almost daily now and let me tell you... application and reapplication is a breeze and you're not left with that icky sticky feeling everywhere. It doesn't make my hair weighed down or greasy and I have very fine hair with a slight wave/curl. I love how light and workable it is. It truly amazes me. My hair has also gotten better looking as far as damage since using it as well as it looks way less damaged and frizzy during use. It's like it seals all the damage up. Amazing hairspray! Definitely a staple in my hair care routine now!

Just okay
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free from influenster and KristinEss in exchange for my honest review. I wanted to like this one, as I mostly use flexible hold hairsprays when wearing my hair wavy, or, as in the case of these pictures, for taming flyaways on my straightened hair. Here you can see my before and after (excuse the scary lighting but trying to show the extent of my flyaways!) and while it did help a bit, i was hoping for a more impressive “after” shot. On top of that, i really dislike the smell of this hairspray. I know generally hairsprays don’t smell that great but there are plenty on the market that have found a way to improve scent and mask the harsh smells. Overall this will give you a flexible hold, but it didn’t impress me in those other areas.

If you like to spray then style this would be sufficient. It has an aroma but not over powering. It has a clean finish and doesn’t weight your hair down.

Great light hairspray

I live in a warm climate, and have frizz prone hair that I straighten. I found it really helpful to use lightly when my styling is done to keep out the humidity. The formula is light, with a fine mist sprayer and a pleasant scent.
