I cannot possible mock this thing enough. I went through the reviews and noticed they were for all kitsch shower caps - not just this one. Somebody out there really thought they had a grand slam when they thought, “You know what shower caps need? Underwire! Everyone’s favorite thing about their bras!” I bought it assuming it was a classic shower cap. I was surprised to find the reinvented the shower cap. Because obviously it was time! It doesn’t protect hair any better, it’s just more work. And it adds this flimsy wire that’s going to last all of… a week, a month?

Wire broke quickly
This is nice in theory, but the wire broke within six months of using it. It makes the shower cap completely useless. You’re better off using a regular shower cap, because $24 isn’t worth a cap that breaks in less than a year.

Another home run from Kitsch
I'll open by saying I am not unduly influenced by social media and it was a friend of mine who got me onto using Kitsch biotin shampoo and conditioner…I think I said the proof is in the shower drain… Because I now lose as much hair in a week as I used to and just one daily shower. I then tried the little bags offered by Kitsch as a means to prolong the useful life of the those 'magical' shampoo and conditioner bars. Kitsch was NOT a part of my 'Mo shampoo days except in having more voluminous hair but after seeing this approach on shower caps, I had to try it. Winner winner winner!! I used to have to put on a headband and then gently pull the shower cap over the band, mess up, get frustrated and start all over. Once you get the hang of the top part (think roll like a hat burrito and then tuck in the edges), you will have to wonder why someone else didn't think of this sooner!

Actually keeps hair dry & styled.
I don't know how but I put this to the test with the hot tub, steam & jets on high. I felt the water & mist getting on the cap & when I got out & removed the cap zero moisture anywhere on my curls. The regular shower cap never has done that, the steam gets through somehow. I've purchased this for my daughter & will for all the women in my life.

A little too tight.
The cap is a little to tight for my head and a little hard to get on. May not be for other people. I have short hair and i'm sure that someone with long hair tied up woud have a hard time. Otherwise the material and everything else is great.
