Truly a Kitchen Helper
I’ve been using my KitchenAid Artisan stand mixer since December 2020 and it is still going strong. My go-to uses are chocolate fudge and dinner rolls, but we also make a version of Dalgona coffee, homemade butter, a mixing-intense cookie dough, frostings, pavlova and more. If money (and space) were no object I would purchase a bigger model to make larger volume for our big family, but it always makes enough as it is (just not always double for later). The smaller size of this mixer does let me store it away in a cabinet and only pull it out as needed. It’s also pretty easy to clean up. After removing the bowl and attachment(s), I wipe down the machine with a warm wet cloth and make sure to clean around the attachment mount. It has stayed shiny and beautiful 5 years now.

Targets delivery process stinks
Received item with the box delivered completely upside down. Was left outside on my porch for a number of hours. The paddle doesn't touch the bottom of the base of the bowl. Would never buy another item from Target that was this much money ever again. I didn't pick up a warranty because my last Kitchen Aid lasted for years!! Not holding out much hope for this one and I'm screwed because I had too much confidence that the buying and delivery process from Target was going to be more professional.

You can feel the power of the machine.It really aerates the batter and makes perfect cookies. the Beater comes in contact with the sides of the bowl and you do not have to mix stuff up when you take the bowl off the stand. everything is incorporated.

Great for breads
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Got it for my birthday! The Empire Red color is such a classic and I love it. I have been on a baking spree since and it makes baking so much simpler and enjoyable by doing a lot of the heavily lifting. I have made some high hydration doughs for breads and it did just fine, just make sure to not exceed 2 speed.

II was so excited for its arrival and when I did get my KitchenAid Artisan series 5 I was not disappointed and it looks wonderful with my kitchen motif. I will recommend to everyone it's a must buy that does not disappoint!!!
