Powered by a rechargeable 12v MAX removable battery (sold separately, model KRB12), the cordless top down chopper delivers up to 24 minutes of continuous run time* and performance. Chop, mix and puree in one bowl for easy prep. *Maximum initial battery voltage (measured without a workload) is 12 volts. Nominal voltage is 10.8. Actual run time will vary based on recipe. Battery life impacted by factors such as battery age and use.

    Easy to use and clean. Chops consistently.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised at the power and usefulness of the top down chopper. It’s so easy to use and take apart for cleaning. Everything goes in the dishwasher. The blades are positioned for the best chopping I’ve found. I have two other small choppers that don’t work as well as the kitchenaid chopper. I really love being able to use this without a cord.
