Printed Performance 400 Thread Count Sheet Set - Threshold™

We've been using these same Threshold Performance sheets in different patterns for many years. This is the first time that the sheets arrived with the horrendous smell of vomit. After reading some reviews here more people have had the same problem. We liked the pattern and color and decided to wash them to try to remove the smell. We found a solution that worked! First wash: used 1 1/2 Cups of vinegar and a small amount of laundry detergent and also filled the fabric softener dispenser full with vinegar. Ran a warm water wash cycle. Second wash: used 1/2 cup of baking soda and 1 cup vinegar (no laundry detergent) and filled fabric softener with vinegar and washed warm water. Smell was gone! Dried in the dryer on low and the sheets came out soft and smelled great. While it is ridiculous to receive sheets that smell so bad (hence the 3 star review), I'm glad I made the effort to de-stink them. For reference the color ordered was the white background with blue doodle type lines and flowers... love the pattern and the softness!

Add me to the long list of other loyal Theshold sheet customers who were overwhelmed by the horrific odor in their new sheets. Some reviewers accurately compare it to vomit! It was so awful that I was unwilling to even see if it lessened after washing. What chemicals would cause that?? Struggling unsuccessfully to fold it to squeeze back into the small case, I could no longer handle the smell in my home and eventual car. I threw the entire sheet set in the trash and am still airing out my house, so upset to be out $50!!!

These are beautiful sheets! Pretty pattern and so soft!

I bought these sheets at the end of May. I wash them according to the tags instructions. It is now January and they are ripped at the corners. Complete garbage for the price I paid even on sale. Do not recommend buying these.

Very stretchy and heavy! Worst sheets we’ve tried so far.

Loved at first, very single green color, sick pristine, but after washing the sheets the softness was gone and they wrinkle like crazy. Very disappointed.

I ordered these through the app and had them shipped to my house. The wrapping was pretty and exactly the sheet. I open it up to take card board out and inside the big sheet was a whole other sheet set and inside the fitted sheet was a worn out old sheet of someone else’s they stuck in there with a whole in it. I felt gross as I don’t know who sheets I touched and I feel as if someone should be checking these returns before turning around and sending to someone else.

These are pretty and feel nice, but there's steaks of a darker color in multiple spots on the fitted sheet.

The bottom sheet fit perfectly, however the sheets are not as soft as I would have liked.
