The blanket came out just as soft. I tried to get a good picture of the blanket but the picture does not do it justice. You have to feel it to believe how soft it really is.

When this blanket first arrived, I was a little nervous due to there being fuzz all over it. I washed it to see if it got any better, and there was not a single piece of lint in the dryer. I have been using this blanket on my couch while wearing black pants and have not had a single piece of lint on me! It’s also super soft and cozy! Very happy with this purchase! I don’t usually waste my time on a review, unless I really hate or really love the product.
