John Timberland Oberlin Rustic Industrial Farmhouse Outdoor Barn Light Fixture White Dusk to Dawn Motion Sensor 9" Clear Seedy Glass for Exterior Deck

This is a nice outdoor light, two things I wish I had realized: it needs an A19 bulb with a standard base, a regular sized bulb won't fit, and it stays on at 25% illumination, then switches to 100% when motion is detected. It looks great with an LED filament style bulb.

The Oberlin fixture was advertized as an outdoor fixture. A little over a year I had two so-called 'outdoor fixture` rusted.

Beautify lamp. Very well made. Just the perfect size. I bought three. Two are on my garage and one is by the front door. What a difference it makes to the house

What a wonderful light! Nice mix of modern/traditional style. The dusk and dimming feature worked easily. The directions were minimal, but installation was straight forward.

This was my first experience with Lamps Plus and I was disappointed with the quality of the light that I received. I unfortunately didn't have time to deal with an exchange or return because I had an electrician scheduled and it's difficult to get him out to my home so I had him install it as is. It had a dent in it and when sitting flat on the counter the rim wasn't even straight all the way around. I expected much higher quality for a light that costs about $100. I'm still giving a three-star review because the features of the light are unique and exactly what I was looking for. I did some research at some of the big box stores and couldn't find this combination of features on a fairly attractive outdoor light. With respect to the review about the LED light, even if the spacing around the glass allowed for the LED bulb, it possibly wouldn't work because this is basically a light that dims. I actually was able to fit an LED bulb into the lamp but when I turned it on it was flickering oddly. My electrician immediately knew that I had an LED bulb and told me that essentially this is a dimming lamp because it normally operates at 25% power and then when the sensor is triggered it jumps to 100% power. As soon as I put a regular bulb in, it worked fine. I believe there are some LED bulbs that can work with dimmer lights but I'm not sure that they are as commonly available or affordable (or can fit in a tight light fixture) as those that can't. Just a heads up.

These are amazing and high quality outdoor lights. They’re exactly what I was looking for: a low level of light when dusk falls so you have “some” light until dawn. Then the sensor kicks in when it senses movement. They look fantastic and my handyman says there the best quality light he’s seen, has suggested them to other clients of his.

Not sure what was up this, but after we got it all wired and in place, we tried adding an LED bulb, and due to the fact the decorative metal comes out further than the actual socket, you cannot use an LED bulb on this. Even a old fashioned 60w bulb works, but the cover didn’t fit then. We ended up having to use an appliance bulb. But this is a Dawn/dusk light. I WANT the energy savings of LED. Poorly designed/engineered. Can’t recommend.

The track lights are as described, easy to install & look great in my studio!
