  • A: Hi, thanks for reaching out! Typically, you’ll apply a facial oil generously and hold your skin taut, while you glide the blade along your face in continuous small motions. You'll want to avoid sensitive areas like your eyes and lips. Holding the blade steady is key. Once you’re finished, cleanse and do your skincare routine as normal. When it comes to dermaplaning more difficult sears (above eyes, near mouth, etc..) our Mini Touch-Up Razors are a great alternative. Thanks, JAPONESQUE Customer Service

    Obsessed with dermaplaning!

    I LOVE dermaplaning my face with this product! I love how to blade is sharp, but also smooth on my face. I never have to worry about my sensitive skin being affected because of it. Thanks to this dermaplaner, my skin has never looked better! My makeup looks and lays down ten times better on my face because of this tool. And, my favorite part about this tool is how adorable to cherry pattern is! I definitely can't wait to collect more of these!

Our blades a made in Japan to ensure superior sharpness, quality & performance. When dermaplaning, we recommend using short even strokes while holding the blade at a 45 degree angle against your skin. Use your other hand to hold skin taunt. Blades will dull overtime, and we recommend replacing after 3 – 4 uses for optimal performance. Our blades are made in Japan making them superior in sharpness.     Impossible to remove from packaging

    The item itself seems good quality, but it was so impossible to remove from the packaging that it broke when removing. Unfortunately, it was the neck where the replacement blade attaches so there is no hope.

    oh my goodness where do i even start? i love this razor so so much. i have always struggled with unwanted mustache hair and this is genuinely perfect for getting rid of that. i haven’t gotten cut once and it gives a perfect clean shave. i just put a little water on my face and then apply the razor it takes like 20 seconds fr. love love love. definitely recommend for anybody, the razors don’t really go dull as i’ve had them for nearly a year, (11 months) and i use almost every sunday. love the replacer it comes with. buy this!!!!!!!!!

    Waste

    It was very hard to remove the razor and put the new replacement blade on. I ended up cutting my thumb pretty bad. I threw it out. Buy the disposable ones instead.

    Inefficient and bad quality

    I dislike this product so much. This dermaplaner is awful! It pinches and barely works. Other reviews mentioned that the blades were really sharp, but that wasn't my experience with this tool. It rusted immediately, even when dried and with the protective cover after minimal use. I had high hopes for this tool, and appreciated that it came with a replacement blade. Skip this overpriced and inefficient dermaplaner and pick up the cheap 3-packs you can find at discount stores.

    The angle of the blade is not the easiest to handle. The blades are super sharp. I got a cut on my cheek.
