I have a Jeep wrangler and the vents are round, the mount doesn’t do the best at holding my phone upright , there’s a little too much weight and it moves around a lot but it’s ok. When I plug the mount into my usbc port it disables apple car play for some reason. I use apple car play 99.9% of the time when I’m in the car. Overall, it’s a cool product but it’s not for me.

It fits with my phone extremely well my only issue is that anytime I hit a bump I have to reposition it to the air vent or I would lose it all to the floor.

The last one sent my phone flying as I was driving , right out of it and it would slide all over the vent, never sturdy or still. This air vent car mount is the opposite, all in good ways! It stays very sturdy in the vent. The rubber grip where the car mount slides into the vent is great quality and I was able to turn and lock it in to my satisfaction. Perhaps the best feature is that it auto-senses your phone and will open automatically and then grip the phone and hold it in place. It is so quiet when it opens and closes that I couldn’t even hear it. We tried it with my iPhone and my husbands Android and it works to fit whatever size your phone is. And it also charges your phone! Major plus. It is sleek and looks really nice with my cars interior. It isn’t bulky or oversized so it isn’t an eyesore in any way. I highly recommend this product!
