About the Author

Gianni Vattimo (1936-2023) es una de las figuras clave de la filosofía actual. Su propuesta teórica, identificada con la posmodernidad, le valió el reconocimiento mundial. Fue miembro del Parlamento Europeo y colaborador habitual en varios medios italianos y extranjeros, fue profesor en las universidades de Turín, Los Ángeles y Nueva York. Autor de una amplia producción ensayística, entre sus obras publicadas en castellano destacan Comunismo hermenéutico (en colaboración con Santiago Zabala), Vocación y responsabilidad del filósofo y De la realidad.
