I am exceptionally impressed with the quality of this chefs knife. The weight and balance is perfect, the wood and finishing details are beautiful and the knife is extremely sharp. I have two other chefs knives, and even after sharpening, they are not nearly as good as this one. An excellent quality knife is definitely an investment and this one is absolutely worth the cost. I highly recommend.

It came well packaged, so well and protected that could be used for a special gift for a relative or friend! Now, I liked the design of the knife itself, so sharp and cuts very well, also is comfortable to hold, ergonomic and with a nice touch of wood in the handle. Has a very well weight distribution and seems/feels that is durable. Good quality overall and slice the food like butter! Will recommend it to others.

This is a nice knife and cuts nicely. It is sharp and nice to hold in my hands. It is comfortable to use. I would need to use it for a long time to see how the blade holds its edge before I could truly know how it is, but so far this has been a great knife for me. The other day I cut through a slab of bacon like it was nothing. I look forward to using it more.

Wow, this is an absolutely incredible knife! This 8-inch Japanese knife is a true work of art. A solid piece construction with even weight distribution is definitely a sign of quality craftsmanship, which is always a good thing. It's easy to handle, and, of course, a sharp blade is essential for getting the job done efficiently and effectively. I found I had less fatigue after prepping vegetables because the knife was doing all the work. This is my new "go-to" knife.
