Photographers from around the world submitted 300 scientific images that were judged for exhibition inclusion by a panel of photographic experts from esteemed institutions such as Smithsonian, Fotomundo, Sky & Telescope, Adobe Systems, Inc., and the Karolinksa Institutet in Sweden.
