I drained the battery empty, put it on the charger and went to lunch, when I came back the battery was fully charged. Great timing for the do-it-yourself type.

QC330 charger stopped charging almost 1 year to the day. It Indicates my three batteries went bad on the same day. Suspected charger, cleaned contacts, no improvement. Dug out my original QC80 charger and charged all three batteries with no trouble. Really like the faster charging, but not at replacing the charger every year. Many other better rated battery tools on the market that I will switch to over time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is drawing 650 watts right off the start not sure why it is called 500. The instructions don't really say if using this on my earlier weaker 36v Husky batteries is advisable.
