Usually love Hu
I usually love Hu. I buy a lot of them when they're on sale at Kroger, but I get the Cashew, Salty, and Hazelnut. They do not carry Mint, so I was excited to see these here. I ordered 2. Unfortunately, they were packed with heavy items and no packing material, so they were very smashed up with a lot of crumbs, but also they were either old, or stored improperly because they were very dry and ashy looking. I tried them, but they are not very good. They're crumbly, instead of smooth. I feel like Hu's chocolate is usually much better than this, so either these are weirdly awful, or the storage/age made these pretty bad. I will try again if I ever see them in a local store, but would not order them again here.

I appreciate a nice short ingredient list, but this bar was not satisfying and not worth its premium price tag (even on sale). The flavor was shockingly bland, and the chocolate and mint somehow managed not to compliment one another. It was also very dry and not smooth, without a good melt in the mouth, so the texture wasn't enjoyable either. All the traits tauted on the packaging are great, but they go nowhere when paired with a mediocre (at best) product.
