How can it be this is her first book and it BE so good? I read mostly Christian non-fiction “smart books”, as I like to call them. I love to hold a book, read each word and be surrounded by colorful highlighters and pens. I’m encouraged by those who give time and thought about scripture and who God is. How Can It Be is a fictional book that equally encouraged me. Through strong character development and imagery, I felt I was apart of their friendships. So much REDEMPTION in this book, even in the little details. How do you navigate church community and dating? If you have a teen or single, this book will encourage you through the lead character’s story on how this CAN be done. How do you move forward when you “gobsmacked” by your past? This story gives hope even when your past might be shameful, ugly and difficult to own. Includes many characters we see in the church today; amazing church mothers, youth leaders, singles, multi-gen.. The author is gifted in showing through these characters how it CAN be when you trust, you surround yourself with Godly women, you ask for forgiveness and you practice patience. Because the characters are so well developed, I’m looking forward to the author’s next books as she delves into the lives of others we met in How Can It Be.
