This book charts his 40 year racing career from hovering wheelbarrows to ultimate speed machines, taking in engineering breakthroughs and the development of the sport to the state it is today.

In-between running his own irrigation equipment company and starting a family, Graham has spent his life building and modifying vehicles. He began with downhill karts and bicycles, then moved to cars and motorhomes, before finding his place in the burgeoning field of hovercraft building.

Not only did Graham design and build a whole range of craft, he went on to race them with great success, winning multiple championships and pushing the sport of hovercraft ever further. In this book, you will find the adventure of hovercraft development from its very beginning to the present day, from the point of view of a longtime designer and racer.

Fully illustrated in colour and black-and-white throughout, including many rare archive photos of hovercraft racing from the 1970s to the present day.
