Don’t have a fabric tape measure? Use a shoelace or pant leg to measure. Then, lay it flat & use a ruler or tape measure to get a numerical measurement.

How to measure

  • Height

    Standing with feet together and back to a wall. Measure from floor to the top of the head.

  • Chest

    Have your child make airplane arms. Wrap tape measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping it level & snug.

  • Waist

    With your child bending to one side, measure the point where the waist flexes naturally. Keep the tape level & comfortably loose.

  • Hip

    Have your child stand like a tall tree with feet together. Measure a level line around the fullest part of the hips & seat.

  • Inseam

    Take a pair of pants that fit your child well. Measure along the seam from crotch to leg opening.

    Great Fit, Terrible Reaction

    We decided on these because the character trainers (which we used with our son) didn’t have many character choices she liked. Unfortunately, that was the wrong choice as the lining caused a huge rash on my daughter’s bottom. I would recommend the more expensive character potty trainers because the lining is cotton and not once caused a bad reaction.

    not made for prepubescent bodies

    These fall right off - it’s like they are made for girls with hips and an hourglass figure (!!!). I get the boys version for all my kids instead and they work. The band is made for toddler bodies; they don’t fall off and the patterns are more universally appealing to 2 year olds (things that go).

    Wedgie Free, Tag Free! Love, Love, Love!

    We bought these for our 5 year old. She is fully potty trained and has been since she was 18 months old. These girls potty trainers are much better than the regular standard Hanes girls briefs cause they are stretchier, offer better coverage, and never give your daughter a wedgie when wearing them These undies are easy to pull up and down for pottying or between changing her underwear each day for a new pair. The fabric is soft, breathable, and stretchy! The designs are age appropriate and very beautiful for any little girl. If your looking for a thicker underwear that is soft, stretchy, and covers your child’s bottom so they can play with their friends and protect their modesty these are wonderful to wear with any outfit and are very comfortable.

    The best ever!

    If you have a child who is potty training or even an older child who has issues making it to the potty in time, you need to buy these. I gift these to anyone I know who is about to start potty training. They will NOT catch all of the pee. They are not pull-ups.     Best undies for newly potty-trained toddlers

    Don't pay attention to the negative reviews; these are awesome. The one star reviews are from people complaining that these are not leak-proof. Well, duh -- these are not pull-ups. These are best for almost or fully potty trained toddlers in that stage where they start to catch themselves having a tiny leak because they're not used to being mindful of their body's signals yet. They are perfect for this purpose, or even the inevitable drips from when they are not wiping themselves well. I reach for these every time over the flimsy, thin cotton panties and still prefer them even though my little one has been fully trained for almost 9 months.
