Graco Story Customizable 3 Drawer Chest - Espresso

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dresser will be useful in my baby’s nursery for storing clothes, crib sheets, etc. If I want to, I could add some sort of topper and turn it into a changing table. However, I will just be using it as a dresser. It took about 2 hours for me to assemble by myself. It weighs about 100 pounds and requires installing a safety latch to keep it from tipping. Pros: 1.) If you have another Graco product like a crib in white, the colors will match, so it’s nice knowing you can mix-and-match pieces. 2.) It’s a decent size for baby stuff. The drawers are somewhat shallow but they hold enough for nursery needs. 3.) It’s a good height if you want to put a changing topper on it. My husband and I are both tall, so this is nice because most changing tables are too short. 4.) The wall safety restraint was easy to install and it’s effective. 5.) The appearance is attractive and modern. Cons: 1.) The quality is your average pressboard, so it’s not going to last a long time. But by the time your kids are out of the baby phase, it’ll be time for a new dresser anyway. 2.) After assembly, one of the drawers doesn’t quite operate smoothly. I’m guessing it’s the quality of the drawer tracks. Some of the screws were difficult to screw in straight into the pre-drilled holes. Someone with more time and care could pre-drill the holes better and have more luck. 3.) The little decorative card holders are a cute touch but a pain to get on. They use the world’s smallest screws to attach, and as I said before, the pre-drilled holes aren’t the greatest. I ended up stripping one of the screws and can’t get the holder on straight because I can’t tighten it. Those holders were easily the most frustrating part of assembly. 4.) I realize the price has gone up on pretty much everything lately, but I don’t think that this dresser quality is worth the asking price. The knobs are not special, the pieces aren’t cohesive ... you can just tell that it’s a lower quality product. This was not a surprise to me. 5.) You have to assemble it yourself.

In fact it was super heavy in the box to begin with, it took 2 people to carry it in the garage to set up. The setup took about 2 and a half hours. It was simple and to the point but definitely had a lot of pieces to set up. My father helped my husband to do it. I do enjoy how thick the wood is and the drawers are very sturdy and open quite smoothly. The only reason why I knocked off a star is because I don't like the whole customization part. I think it looks quite tacky and gives me file cabinet drawer vibes. You could remove the little placards but then you are left with holes in all the drawers.so if you are looking to customize your drawers by adding notes then this is great for you. if you like the simple and clean look I wouldn't get this particular dresser. overall the quality and sturdiness is wonderful. this is a solid dresser that doesn't feel cheaply made.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wish the top drawer was actually 3 drawers instead of just one. That’s the only critique I have for this dresser. It is a good choice for a nursery and seems like it will last until we need to transition to toddler furniture.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this a couple weeks ago and it fits perfect into our so to be little baby girls room , it has plenty of room for baby clothes , It looks like great and made pretty well it was easy to put together , It is the right size for the small nursery we are setting up .

Very nice build quality that’s incredibly substantial- one of the first things you’ll notice from the weight and construction. Color looks good anywhere in the house. The drawers offer plenty space for all our kids sheets and folded clothes. The labels are super convenient for changing things up. Has a large area up top for photos, books, lamp etc. very pleased and would definitely recommend.

I came across this piece of furniture and it fit perfect for the space that I needed. It was easy to put together and instructions were very clear.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ended up receiving a different product than what I was suppose to have got. I got the Graco Chest with 3 Drawers to review. I have always been a fan of Graco anyway because I have purchased their bounce seats, crib, car seat and stroller. This three drawer chest is beautiful. All of of the pieces were in the box and it didnt take that long to put together. I love the fact that there is labels on all of the drawers so that i know what goes in which drawer. I plan to use this in my daughters nursery room. It will match her crib perfectly. All of the pieces were thick and sturdy and very well made! I absolutely love this dresser and I love Graco.

I was looking for a regular chest for the nursery but found this one. Bought this mainly for the changing table feature up top and I must say I am really impressed so far. Easy to build and a nice smooth finish. Summary - easy to slide into any corner of the nursery, and lots of storage for a nice little unit

They will be sharing rooms so I love that it’s unisex. Being 7 months pregnant I was able to put it together with no problems.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this over a month ago and it’s the perfect dresser for us. It has the right size. It’s not too big either too small. I can organize all the clothes for my newborn and also fits on her small room. I love the tag feature which will be a differential for her when she grows up because I can organize by tags every drawer. I also like that we can should to have the tag on the drawers or not because I will not use tags now, but I will in the future. I know I will have this dresser until she gets older because the material it’s great and works with our classic style. I am in love with this dresser.

It is sturdy and much heavier wood than we expected. It took my husband less than an hour to assemble and he kept commenting on the thickness of the wood pieces. I also love that it has a space for personalization for each drawer so that we can keep the boys' things separate and organized. It matched the room perfectly with the neutral gray color and the kids don't try to climb it like our old one. It was very easy to put together and also to keep it clean.
