Graco Jumpstart 4-in-1 Activity Bouncer - Wren

The Graco Jumpstart 4-in-1 is a disappointment! My 9-lb, 4-week-old baby fully compresses the “shock” system to its maximum capacity. Instead of a smooth, soothing bounce, you have to actually “lift” the baby to get movement & it jolts harshly and makes an unpleasant sound when the shocks bottom out. That completely defeats the purpose of trying to calm a baby. I returned the unit directly to Graco for a replacement, assuming the first one was defective. Unfortunately, the replacement behaved exactly the same way. In fact, I ended up sending back the replacement because it was no different than the original. This appears to be a design flaw, not a one-off defect. For a product meant to soothe infants, this is unacceptable. I would not recommend this product

My baby will bounce & jump in this activity set for atleast 30 minutes at a time! I love the quality and the different settings to keep him busy! The fabric is high quality and so soft! I purchased in the color Wren and it is a beautiful neutral gray! I also love that when my baby gets a bit older this can be used as a kids chair! Great product!

Right now, my 18 month old is able to use it while we are reading to him or when he is watching tv. They later on I will be able to use it for our baby on the way! The material feels luxurious and it was easy to assemble. It also feels very sturdy and will last through the years. Always happy with Graco products!

This chair is really versatile and offers a couple different options on set up, A lot of chairs like this just offer the one option but this chair is nice because it offers much more. Another good thing is that there’s no batteries or plug in. Fully manual chair. We like it because of the color as well. Nothing catchy or flashy but matches most rooms or themes.

I initially tried the sitting set up and it was nice, but all she wanted to do was bounce so I changed it to bouncing mode and it has been working great! It is very sturdy and she is able to bounce a little bit without me being concerned. The small tray is nice and holds a few toys and in the future, some snacks. The material is very nice and soft and appears to be easy to wash. Set up was very easy and it is easy to change from one thing to another.

It grows with your baby - starting as a cozy infant seat, then a floor seat, a jumper, and later a toddler chair. My 6-month-old loves the jumper setting — it's been her favorite so far! It's not the kind of jumper where they bounce up and down on their legs a ton; instead, the seat gently moves, which feels easier on her little joints. The infant setting is super supportive and cozy, and the simple, modern design looks really nice in our space. The small tray is great for toys or snacks, and I love that the seat pad is machine washable. It also folds flat, which makes it so easy to move around, travel with, or store - perfect for smaller spaces.

This is best for those prioritizing longevity.

All three of my children have loved a simple bouncer as babies and I needed a second one for my 4 month old, but I know he’s about to outgrow the simple reclined bouncer stage. I found this and love that it converts to a little baby seat and then a bouncer as they get a bit older! The white/grey color is really nice, but I really love that the material is kind of slick so stains and marks come off really easily. It’s very sturdy and well-built. The straps are nice and secure and adjust easily. My 2 year old is interested in this too and likes to sit in it sometimes. You definitely get your money’s worth with this because of all the conversions. I will say, in the bouncer setting it doesn’t bounce as much as some brands. It’s on a hydraulic looking system with not much give for the bouncing, but my little guy doesn’t mind and he’ll be transitioned to the seat in the next month or two.

This was super easy to assemble, the components click together audibly and smoothly so there are no questions how it’s supposed to go. This one is great because it’s a bouncer but also a baby chair and eventually a toddler chair. We always have friends visiting with babies in various stages so I love how easy this is to switch to different modes. My son who’s almost two loves the chair arrangement!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 4 in one baby Chair is really nice! I decided to set it up at stage 3, as my grandbaby is ready for the jumper position. It was actually so easy to assemble and required zero tools! It has a sleek modern look to it and is gender neutral and very minimalist. My granddaughter enjoys the upright position it holds her in and she can easily make it bounce. I think she will like it as a rocker as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great 4-in-1 chair! I tested it out with my newborn (2 months old) and appreciate it's sturdiness. My husband was able to set it up fairly easily. My toddler sat in it and tested it's strength as well and it didnt not tip over. You definitely want to strap your baby in as it is more upright compared to other baby bouncers that sink down a bit and the material is a little "slicker" rather than cloth. The material will be nice and potentially easier to clean than traditional cotton/fur.

Liked the color but when I put it together it doesn’t bounce

I’ve had issues since I bought it. I can’t switch between the different modes. I put it in the floor seat mode, but the seat won’t clip in. No matter how hard we push, we can’t get it to click in. I’ve watched videos, read the instructions, but it seems to have very faulty parts. It’s unsafe and I wish I never bought it.

My 2 month old baby loves it. He hates the bassinet but somehow can lay here alone up to 30 minutes. Easy to assemble and wash. Looking forward to using the other configurations.

Sadly, this Graco 4-in-1 Activity Seat fell short of expectations. Advertised as a bouncer, I was surprised and disappointed to find that it does not actually bounce nor does it offer a vibrating option. This omission significantly detracted from its functionality, especially considering the importance of soothing motions for infants. It only moves if you sit near the seat and lift it up and down. (or maybe it's just not made for chunky babies) On a positive note, the fabric is neutral in color and cleans very quickly, which is a practical feature given the inevitable messes that come with babies and toddlers. The concept of a floor seat is appealing to me and potentially useful, so I love the idea of being able to transition to that as soon as the baby is old enough. While I like how it looks, it doesn't feel like the quality I've come to expect from Graco. While the Graco 4-in-1 Activity Seat has its merits, it would not be my first recommendation to other parents as a mama of ten.

I like the 4 different features. I never thought of a bouncer turned seat for my toddlers. I have four kids and I like having somewhere to put my youngest that I feel is safe. It also give me someplace to set him down when I am cooking or showering. He seems happy and I get to keep my hands freer. The fabric seems very nice. It hasn't shown any stains yet. My favorite feature is the bouncer seat for Littles. I don't have a lot of space to store multiple bouncers and seats so I really like the versatility. The assembly instructions were a bit confusing, but once we were able to put it together I loved the functionality. Moving the bouncer to the different positions was easy and efficient. The one thing I would change would be to add some kind of locking mechanism for when the seat is folded flat. Otherwise when you carry it around it will slide back into one of the sitting positions. The fabric looks and feels like it is high quality. The modern and classic look is what we prefer. It was also easy to wipe down and keep clean. I look forward to using this bouncer as my baby grows. It’s so convenient to be able to use the same seat for different positions. I would definitely recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bouncer is such a space saver. I love that there are 2 different seats that fit the one frame. I’m a huge fan of convertible baby gear. I really like the neutral tones and the design is sleek. At first I thought the fabric was a beige heathered jersey fabric but it’s a synthetic fabric with a printed design. Initially I didn’t like that but now I realize it doesn’t heat up my baby’s back and is much easier to wipe clean. It also keeps its shape and doesn’t stretch out. My baby is 4 month old so he can almost use all 4 modes of the seat. When he’s just relaxing, I have it reclined in the infant bouncer mode. When he’s a little more active, I attach an activity bar and change the height to the kid chair with the belt. Even my toddler liked to sit in the chair that way. My baby has started wanting to lift his head and sit instead of lying flat in a reclined chair so I have sat him in the floor chair briefly and he seemed to enjoy that. I like the little tray it comes with to hold some toys or snacks when baby will be old enough for that. My baby will soon be ready for the jumper mode and I like that it’s included in this seat because typical baby jumpers take up so much space, but this all-in-one bouncer is so compact and it folds pretty slim. It is sometimes tough to change the height on the seat because I have to press both buttons on each side and don’t always have both hands free. I also like the belt buckles which are quicker and easier to use than a button style like other popular bouncer chairs. Overall, I really like this bouncer and that it can grow with my baby.
