A: Thanks for asking! The ghd Platinum+ Styler does not have manual temperature controls. It automatically maintains an optimal styling temperature (around 365°F / 185°C) and adjusts based on your hair as you use it. This helps reduce excessive heat exposure while still delivering consistent results for most hair types.

Broke with light use
This item broke exactly 3 months after purchasing it. I used it a few times a week. One day, the power button just started flashing red/beeping when I would try to turn it on (upon Googling apparently this is a fairly common issue). Target won’t take it back because it’s a “premium” brand, and GHD requires you to pay to insure and ship it to them for a replacement of the same product (which is apparently faulty). Super disappointed for the price!
