[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This air conditioner works very well, it wasn’t too heavy and it is perfect for the room. It has a very nice and long power cord so you can reach outlets that are further from the window. I love the smell that comes out from this unit, reminds me of one we had when I was a kid. The airflow is very steady and it works as it should. I live that is a 5,000 btu so it will consume less energy than others rated at higher btu output.

Great air conditioner
I love my new GE air conditioner. My house is a 200 square foot tiny house. This air conditioner is great in every way. It’s not too noisy, so it doesn’t interrupt what ever I’m doing. The temperature is right on the spot.

name brands bad quality control.
cannot be put together. screws are to long for the top part to be atrached to air conditioner. had to return and find something else.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received this GE 6000 BTU windows air conditioner and overall I'm happy with it. The unit works well and cools the room quickly, which is exactly what I needed for warmer days. The build quality feels solid and it comes with everything needed for installation, but the setup itself took a bit of time and effort. It's not super difficult, just something to keep in mind if you're installing it alone. It's also a little on the noisy side, so I personally wouldn't use it in a bedroom since I prefer sleeping in complete silence. Unfortunately it didn't perfectly fit my window, so I'm a bit limited in how I can use it right now. Overall, it's a good and reliable AC unit that does its job well - just make sure it fits your window and that you're okay with a bit of noise.

Everything it is advertised to be
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unit work well in a room of 150sf or smaller under normal conditions. Once it got hot and humid around 90+ degrees, this unit will struggle, fortunately my house is well insulated so it worked out, just took longer. I was hoping it would be noisy but it is louder than I expected. The install was super simple, the hard part would be lifting and holding the machine as a small person. I added wooden pieces to lock my window in place for security since most window AC units will compromise home safety.

Powerful
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The AC was easy to install and comes with everything you need in the box which made the set up process easy and straightforward. It does require two person to set up due to its size but once it’s in place, it was simple to use. I like that it comes with a remote control which made it convenient to adjust the settings from anywhere in the room. It gets cold quickly and blows strong and powerful air which helps to cool down the room quickly.

You've made a great choice by going with this model. It really does offer powerful cooling performance, which is crucial during the summer heat. We also love the included remote, allowing convenient and easy controls. Our most favorite feature is the included "Eco" mode which automatically turns off the fan and compressor when the room is cool enough, to help reduce your utility costs.

Come with remote control for convenience. It has 3 cooling, 3 fan, and eco mode setting. For small room, it cool quite fast. For the noise, like most AC, a little bit loud but manageable loud that I do not noticed once it run continuously like most AC.

Missing drain plug
My window air conditioner doesn’t appear to have a drain plug. Just a rectangular hole in the bottom pan. Is that normal? My old one had a small rubber drain plug.

This mechanical window air conditioner is so breezy and cool snd I cannot emphasize it enough how wonderful this is to have . It is so incredibly easy to install for your home. The pieces are not difficult to assemble at all. It’s also not that loud if you are concerned about noise levels. It honestly makes a good ambiance/white noise. Some other important things to note is that the window air conditioner comes at a really good price compared to other brands. This is truly a product I recommend all my relatives and friends as well. Please do yourself a favor and at least try it once! You’ll love it!

Small but Mighty
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Georgia weather can change in a second - so having to switch from the heater to the AC is exhausting and expensive. Having the option to simply turn on this small room AC unit I can make my office space a cool room within a few minutes. Extremely easy to install, but I will say heavy. My office is on the second floor and I will say I was very worried to install this on my own as any little mishap could cause it to tumble down. However, I was able to install and setup with no issues. My room cools down in a matter of minutes and the unit is not as loud as you would expect.

The Best Air Conditioner Ive Ever Had
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is currently 32 degrees and snowing at my house unfortunately but i did still make sure this fits the window and works. It will definitely fit the window perfectly. Its not near as heavy as the previous air conditioner we had because i can actually lift this myself with no help, i couldnt even lift the last one (im 5"4 115lbs). I also need to get a board to put outside under the air conditioner. The few minutes i had it on tsting it was enough to freeze me out of the room completely. It may be small and light but its the beat air conditioner ive ever owned. I love the eco friendly features to helo save electricity. Its also not as loud as my previous air conditioner but its still a bit loud but i can deal with the noise. It will definitely be a huge help when it starts getting hot where i live as my previous air conditioner brike 2 year ago and cant find anyone to fix it so we have been using electric fans and on very hot days they dont help much. Im so grateful to have this and amazed at how good it works and how much cold air it puts out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently installed the GE 6,000 BTU Electronic Window Air Conditioner (for rooms up to 250 sq ft) in my son’s bedroom, and I’m honestly so impressed. Installation was a total breeze. I had it up and running way faster than I expected. This little unit has so many great extra perks, but my favorite has to be the remote control. There is nothing better than adjusting the temperature without having to leave the cozy bed, or interrupting an important gaming session. The filter is super easy to remove and clean, which makes maintenance simple and stress free. And this unit is so quiet! The biggest win is how much cooler my son’s bedroom is now. He has a lot of electronics in there and it makes his room way too hot. It cools the place quickly and keeps it consistently comfortable. For a small room, this unit absolutely delivers.

My central air left my bedroom as a hot spot, as soon as I assembled this unit with ease and cut it on I felt relief from the heat. I love it. My room is so much more comfortable now. It has eco mode so it cuts off when the temp hits whatever I have it set on. It has a remote. I love it. My room literally did not get cooled off like the rest of my place until I installed this unit.
