Description
Earthy Ethiopian Sidamo coffee exhibits gentle almond nuances with balanced acidity and medium body. The sweet, wine-like aroma comes from the "Natural" sun-drying process. Ethiopian Sidamo is grown in the Kaffa region of the Sidamo province of Ethiopia. This is where coffee was first discovered over a thousand years ago. This Ethiopian Sidamo is in the same family as Ethiopian Yirgacheffe.

Very versatile bean
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been ordering Sidamo for many years. It is a versatile bean, good for espresso or handpour coffee. The cappucino brewed with this Sidamo has a nutty flavor, and handpour is a bit sweet, fruitness.

Great flavor and really smooth
This Ethiopian Sidamo turned out even better than I expected. The blueberry note is real, but not too strong, and the coffee itself is smooth with a nice, balanced acidity. It has a clean, slightly earthy taste that makes the cup feel fuller and more interesting. I’ve been brewing it in a regular drip machine and it still keeps its bright, fruity flavor. No bitterness, no harsh aftertaste. Just a really good, easy-to-enjoy coffee. I’d definitely buy it again.

The roaster’s tasting notes and description are spot on. This makes an excellent cup of coffee, even in a standard drip brewer. It’s impossible to go wrong when deciding between any Ethiopian coffee from FRC. This one is ordered on repeat in our house.
