Franklin Iron Works Hickory Point Rustic Farmhouse Outdoor Wall Light Fixture Walnut Bronze 16" Frosted Cream Glass for Post Exterior Barn Deck House

I purchased 5 of these 9 years ago for my home and I'm so disappointed with the quality over time. They did not hold up and now I need to buy new ones.

In Oct 2021, we purchased these two wall lights as well as a ceiling light light and a hanging light all in the Hickory Point design. Both the ceiling light and the hanging light are fine, probably because they are in an area with an overhang and do not get rained on directly. But the two wall lights are by are back door, and do get rained on. After only 1-/2 years (Spring of 2023), these two lights were beginning to show signs of rust. Now after only 2-1/2 years they are badly rusted, and I guess we will have to sand and paint them. If a product is advertised as an OUTSIDE light, they should last longer than 1-1/2 years before rusting. They need to use a better quality paint and/or metal. I still love the design and they seem heavy and solid, but because of the rust issue, I can only give them 3 stars. Our plan was to buy the matching Hickory Point light for our lamp post, but that too will be exposed to rain, etc..I don't know if it would be a smart decision to purchase it. its disappointing.

Very nice design. Unfortunately, one of the two lights arrived with a broken glass panel that we are awaiting a replacement for.

I purchased two for my front outdoor lighting and what a great statement they make. I had installed on my front porch and the second installed near the garage.

Bought 4 of these. The ones that are under a covered porch faired ok however the ones that are on the front of the house, exposed to the elements did not. They corroded and rusted within the first year. I will have to look for new lights...not by this manufacturer!

We bought 3 for our garage as an upgrade and they are well worth the cost. Substantial in heft, beautifully designed and a simple install. If we could give 10 stars we could. Darker than medium tone oil rubbed bronze. If you are looking for a mission feel, this is for you. Not flimsy! The glass is thick and the installed lights look great. Would love to upload a pic.
