Perfect complement to our traditional colonial, purchased a pair for either side of the garage and one for the porch. Good size and easy to assemble and mount, soft illumination is perfect for our needs. So far the only downside is that the shade bottom is open and a spider or two has taken up residence. Easy to clear out but could become a nuisance particularly if mounted high. All-in-all, really like the look and finish of this fixture and the price was reasonable (on sale) when compared to many others we considered.

This fixture is intended for flush wall mounts only. I had to install conduit on the exterior of my home to move the exterior box to the other side of the porch. The weight of the fixture torques the mounting plate, so the fixture doesn't hang vertically as it should. I had to put 14 washers under the base of the mounting plate to make the fixture hang properly. See photos.

I bought four of these to replace some old, ugly ones between our garage doors. These really spiffed up the outside of our house! They are well made and went up easily.
