Q: Are the bags the pinch-close type only? Is there an option to buy the slider-close bags instead? I really hate the pinchie ones.

A: Same!!!! They need to make one with sliders. Except on snack and sandwich bags I guess, but still!!! I would buy a sliders box!

These are the only bags I've ever used that left the food inside tasting distinctly like plastic. I'm not sure what's up, but these are not fit for the purpose of food storage. The plastic taste was so strong we threw out the food - and it was more than one kind of food, so I don't think this is a matter of some kind of weird interaction between the food and the bag. It even made completely dry cereal taste like plastic
