No flavor and large hulls
I used to enjoy the Ezekiel bread, so I thought I’d try the English muffins. Unfortunately, there were so many hulls from something in this bread that I was concerned I might break a tooth. Quality seems to have changed, and I wouldn’t recommend these. They were also flavorless.

Unfortunately it didn't taste good as I was hoping for. It barely has any flavor and yes people said that this is a healthier alternative it is I will give some credit for that but the texture is not for me and it takes a bit of time to chew and it's hard to chew unfortunately as for some people who don't care about the taste or texture then this is for you

Doesn't claim to be Gluten Free
People being disappointed these are not Gluten Free. The FIRST ingredient listed is "organic sprouted whole wheat." Wheat contains gluten. These are not advertised as being "gluten free" and the packaging does not indicate being "gluten free." These muffins are a good option for those not needing a "gluten free" option.

Great Gluten Free English muffins
Huge Fan of the Ezekiel Sprouted Grain Bread. I have been buying it consistently for a year now. Love that I can keep these in the freezer and just take one out at a time to use. Best Gluten Free option for a Healthy Alternative to Regular English muffins!

No nooks & crannies! Very dense!
It’s Ezekiel bread. It’s healthy and tastes pretty good. I wouldn’t exactly call it an English muffin, though! Like all Ezekiel bread, it’s very dense. Notice that the nutrition info is for HALF an English muffin, which is a very unrealistic serving size! If you thaw it in the microwave for 60 seconds on 50% power, split it apart with your hands or a fork, toast the halves, then flip them around and toast them a second time… you get a nice warm, toasted on the outside, soft on the inside texture – but you don’t get the chewiness, the sour crumb, or the nooks and crannies characteristic of a true English muffin! Because they lack the nooks and crannies and are so very dense, the split side is as smooth as the crust! That means whatever you put on top can’t melt into it at all! This makes it considerably messier to eat, which negates it as an option for breakfast to-go — unless you treat it like regular Ezekiel toast, and make a healthier homemade McMuffin-style sandwich. TL;DR: It’s still healthy and good — but since it’s very dense and there are no nooks and crannies, it’s functionally no different than regular Ezekiel sandwich bread… except it costs a lot more per slice… so you should probably just buy the sandwich bread!
