it is very firm, not medium or soft.

Target provided several return options, including shipping it back. However, the mattress arrives compressed in a box, and once it’s removed from the plastic, it is physically impossible to get it back into the original box—even with a vacuum. I attempted to return it to my local Target store, but was told they could not accept the return because it had been removed from the plastic. That left shipping it back to corporate as the only option, which is not realistic for a full-size mattress that cannot be repackaged. Unless you know exactly what you want and are certain it will work for you, I do not recommend buying a bed from Target.

Definitely Firm!

Very firm but confirms to your shape. Easier to soften up a firm mattress with extrs padding than firm up one that's too soft. The sides dont sink in when you sit on it. Very pleased!!
