Q: Can regular coffee filters be used .
A: My partner uses #2 cone filters.
submitted byCindy P - 1 month agoA: You do NOT need to use a filter. Make sure the basket is soaking wet, then add any ground of coffe. I have never had any grounds in my coffee in all my years of using this or the stove top percolator.

Q: If I would buy a 12 cup percolator, could I still make a 4 cup coffee in it?
A: Yes, I had a 12 cup percolator and made 4- 6 oz cups (24 oz total) in it, but I don't recommend you go less than that.
