This was easy to put together and make comfortable for her. It gave her a safe place to give birth, keep puppies together and wasn’t a problem with her moving them around the house like with other litters. This is very light weight and not heavy so if you need to move it.

Rails can be removed when puppies are more sturdy. The pee pad is machine washable and can be reused. Playpen is easy to wipe down with general purpose cleaners or disinfectants. Assembly is easy with lightweight materials.

This product gives her a safe space. Also, it is tall enough for the puppies not to wonder off once they get big enough to roam around.

I used to use kiddie pools with rails to help the dogs and their pups but eventually the pups could jump out and It was hard to maintain clean since their momma didn’t want to clean up after them. This system is so easy to set up but the best part is how easy it is to clean!!! I love the set up and ended up purchasing the puppy kit extension! The pups are not able to jump out of here once they are a bit bigger and the rails keep their momma from accidentally squishing them. This is a must have for whelping!!
